I think there are way more things than just two things that has everyone steamed. And I never read anything official that said 1.4 was the last. Pull me something that is not some hear-say. Because I am very sure we are going to see a 1.5...but I don't know about a 1.6 though.

Sure there are, come on, do you fly? J10/F35B HAS to be fixed... when we get a patch, and Dice/EA 'KNOW' about this issue and people complaining about it, it HAS to be fixed and that is what I was expecting, which will not be delivered - this patch IS a dissapointment.

And regarding the 1.4 being the final I read somewhere, can't remember where, but I wouldn't make stories up I never heard.

I remember it said something like, with 2142 being released 1.4 will be the final patch or BF2.

i haven't played the beta's but i have a feeling that this patch will be good and fix a lot of the stuff

Do I fly? Let me tell you, I think the AT rocket passing through vehicles is 100% more important then the J10 problem. TBH, if you have the skill, you can take down a n00b J10. But, with the AT problem example, there is nothing you can do, because it is not a skill problem. And this is not the thread to debate this issue.

Sure I have skill, sure I can take a 'n00b' down but when you're up against a decent pilot, there's no way. I don't use AT rockets much, I think they are fine!!! Leave it as it is... fix the J10 issue... self centered isn't it... you make me laugh :)

J10/F35B is a HUGE problem as well as AT rockets passing throught cars is.

I dont' play AT, look at my stats, that is not my bag, AT are my rival in the field. And comparing how many planes are in the sky versus people that are on the ground dealing with Armor, APCs, and Jeeps, I think the ground people need a fix more the pilots that circle jerk around the runway.

'Make me laugh' I am glad I humor the fools out there that think they little paper planes are the most important element in the game. I understand you little hitbox problems with the J10. But, I really don't give a **** about your need for balance, because TBH, there should not be balance in everything. They term certain aircraft in the world in catagories, and one is called Air Superiority. Maybe you can Wiki it someday when you are not pouting about getting wax by a better pilot in a better plane.

And the claymore problem? Ha, that is an easy fix that DiCE does not have to do anything about, it is server admins that need to turn FF back on. There is not serious code changes that need to be made.

Think gunna be a mixed bag. Certain problems arise / certain problems fixed.

Know some people have never had CTD or server freeze ups but I'm not one of them.

you probably heard from all the people saying it on these boards, but that doesnt mean its true. People are just angry about 2142 and in there rantings they ALWAYS say that 1.4 will be the last because they no SO much about how EA/DCICE works tat we should all believe everything they said

The people making the patches have NOTHING to do with 2142 and will continue to support BF2 even after 2142 is released

I for one liked the 1.4 beta 2 no major issues. I think we'll all get a different version of the patch that was tested.

It's been what 2 weeks since the Beta servers in the UK were taken down ? More then likely they'd screwed some thing up or give us a total different patch that wasn't tested.

That's why you have planes, they HELP take tanks out. I save people's asses from being killed by tanks. If you're on the USA side, you will not get much help because J10 will slaughter my jet before I can bomb that tank that is attacking you... this affects EVERYONES game play - this is a huge issue!

It's not about how one side has better armor than the other. This issue is a ridiculous... for J10 to dodge all the missles and for F35B to dodge none, is stupid... absolutelly stupid.

I don't know how to answer this poll really...

NOTHING in this world is perfect. Everyone has their own personal oppinions on what is 'good' or 'bad', so with thousands of players, you're going to get mixed reactions.

The only thing i'm quite worried about is: What if they havn't fixed every bug? Will we ever see another BF2 patch to fix it? I wouldn't think so...

Children my age? Well I'm 24, 25 in a few months actually. Yes I am tired of being killed the the J10 'SO EASLY' every time. If you don't fly, you don't know how annoying this issue is. It's not a 'skill' it's an error in BF2 that needs to be fixed.

Listen, mate, the post is asking if 1.4 will be a dissapointment, well to me, personally, it already is a dissapointment becuse of one of the biggest issues is not being fixed. Deal with it!

I have already dealt with it! I have been active in working on problems to be solved in 1.5 and maybe 1.6 with email going to Colin and posting in the fix threads. I never see you over there so, I don't think you are finished crying about 1.4. It was stated a long time ago, that 1.4 was to clean up all the problems introduced with 1.3. For 24, I would hope you caught on to that a long time ago.

I know the J10 has hit box issues, move on, it is not going to be fixed as of notes released with beta one weeks ago. Sounds like you have been living with disappointment for awhile.

I was expecting 1.4 to fix the jet issues which is not going to happen so I am dissapointed.
