Not saying it will or wont be but I decided to see what everyone else thinks will happen so they can say I told you so when its released.

Im sure the typical moaners will start chanting in unison when it's released. It seems that people are always looking for something to complain about. The biggest one for a year was "Dont they test these patches!!!", so they test a patch and take their time on it. Next thing you know everyone is in a frenzy with the old "Aren't they ever going to release it!!!".
Doesn't seem like Dice makes anyone happy.

For the majority of players I think it will be a good release... it was beta tested by the public and I'm sure that what we really want will be in the patch.

To me it's already a dissapointment because J10/F35B and claywhore issues have not been fixed.

Already, people are saying it sucks because they did not fix this and that! It was to fix the CTD, performance, and server stability. Ya, it has some enhancements, but its job was just to get the game back up to a solid level. Wait for 1.5 for you little wishlists to Santa.

as long as EA and DICE are together making a patch, they will find a way to mess up.

Dice makes the patches, EA distributes the game. Why does everyone blame EA for the ****ty patches?

As far as I can remember, 1.4 was meant to be the last patch for BF2, ever - that is what I read.

I'm not complaining, don't jump into conclusions This patch is a disspointment for me because those two issues that a lot of people hate did not get fixed. As as far as I know, I think this patch was not meant to just fix the CTD's...

As far as I can remember, 1.4 was meant to be the last patch for BF2, ever - that is what I read.

I think there are way more things than just two things that has everyone steamed. And I never read anything official that said 1.4 was the last. Pull me something that is not some hear-say. Because I am very sure we are going to see a 1.5...but I don't know about a 1.6 though.
