The Colour of fatigues (specially snipers)

In my opinion, I feel the sniper's camoflage is not that effective in the urban battle maps, for instance, in strike at karkand, the snipers are sooo visible (unless behind a bush), Shouldnt there be a 'desert' style army fatigue for sniper , and in general for the USMC ? (this doesnt need to apply only to the USMC, the MEC and PRC can have their own version of army 'desert' fatigues...
    ??

I know i will be critised... but please, dont attack as though i am stupid

They do need to add better camo for EACH map.

NO worries you wont get attacked. You raise a great point. I would ahve to say though, snipers really have no business in urban areas with a full on ghille suit. For the most part, snipers are the most ill equipped for running around with assauly and everyone else. They should realistically stay in the boonies.

Construction site on sharqi. I was getting kills left right and center. I finished with like 70 points?

Couldnt they easily just tint the color of the suit to a orangy yellowyish and make it an option?, or make it so you can tint it to whatever color you want, they should have at least tiny bit of programing knowledge within their ranks.

Its true what your saying about snipers but it also depends on what settings somone is useing. I used to always play with everything on medium and i could spot a sniper a mile away then i got a new graphics card and started playing with everything on high and its so much harder to spot the little buggers now.

I don't do sniper often (cos I'm crap at it). However, it always amuses me seeing a small shrubbery blossoming in the sun on top of the Sharqui crane.

I think it's been mentioned before, but 'tick suit' capabilities would be cool too - possibly masking the sniper from radar/UAV. See this link.

For city maps they could remove the camoflage and put the sniper in a wood box with holes for legs and arms. This way he can run and drop to the floor and hide like a turtle. And snipe every one from inside a box. A box will be the best camoflage for a urban city map.

The Sniper class along with the Assault class are my two least played but I've recently started playing the Sniper quite a bit.

Sharqi is a great map for sniping and the claymores are awesome now they don't TK. It does make you an easier target on urban maps than the more rural ones but urban snipering is a different beast. I find it best to be more 'hit and run' on urban maps. Once you've been spotted it doesn't matter how well hidden you are...

You get spotted on one of the big rural maps it's harder to get away I find and much less efficient for kills/base capping ect as you usually need to tread a lot of ground to repossition. On a city map, you shoot, abandon your position and poke round the corner of the next building ect throwing claymores down the little alleys and ladder bases to cover your run...

I dunno, I've been doing quite well recently. Karkand seems to be the trickiest though, that map is just chaos!

In 1.4, if the sniper isn't moving, the UAV wont pick up on him, dunno about the radar scan....

                          Oh, that's nice....

I missed that change. Well either that or I've been looking at an old 1.4 changes list.

I try to use the black spots on textures as much as possible. The maps are usually filled with these texture-colour shadow spots that you can use, independantly from the shadows you get from settings.

By far the best method of sniping is taking your time in empty, local server and just start exploring the scenery, youll be amazed how many spots you can find.

What snipers DONT do, which has been taught to me, is that pronining cover isnt often the best solution. Sometimes you have to find a spot where you shoot from standing position, take a shot, and when you prone youre completely concealed. Take a 10-15 second silence pause and then rise for a shot again. If you cant see them, chances are they cant see you either.

But yeah, to overcome the lacks of ghillie suit, you have to exploit the game.

Eh they are actually listening to some of our changes, I wonder if they make it so cars wont explode when they touch water. Thats always pissed me off.
