i don't really have a problem with the snipers camo. people just always pick the most obvious places to snipe, usually some place high which isn't really a good idea 'cause you are silhouted against the sky and stick out like a sore thumb.

Finally somybody brought this up. The camo for pretty much any unit does exactly what it's not supposed to: it makes them stick out. Let's all just paint them red and have the word "target" hover above their heads. I think the camo on the chinese maps is ok, but on MEC maps, the need new skins.

I wish, but those Ghille suits do come in handy in Karkand and Sharqi. I have my Veteran Sniper Badge, and working on Expert, but there is enough shubbery on the city maps often enough to make some use out of ghille. Around the Suburbs on Karkand, on that large hills is one. Along the hill at the foot of the TV station on Sharqi is another. The bushes at the foot of the water tower on Mashtuur overlooking Hotel is pwnage for anti-MEC sniping at the start, too.

I wouldn't necessarily give up Ghille, even though it does make you victim number 1 when someone is looking for targets in the middle of a firefight. "Ooh, sniper! No armor! Get it! Get it! Free kill!" As suicidal as being amongst a pack of your own team is as sniper :3

I agree completely the ghillie suit doesnt furfil its purpose, in fact it does the oppositeof what its supposed to do. But we won't see anything like this because its DICE lol, we can always dream though.

i see alot of threads suggesting that they change the sniper class so that it does not show up under UAV.....well thats silly, snipers already do not show up on UAV....this is nothing new.....i guess nobody ever noticed....

On high settings gfx it is hard to spot them, especially with a bush in front. Since my RAM crashed I'[ve had to settle with Low settings and can spot anywhere
