    Mouse or Joystick for choppers?

Okay so I got a joystick and I just want to find out if you guys find it easier to fly and maneuver in confined areas with a mouse or joystick, I just want to know if it is harder to do it with a joystick or if I just need to practice more?

It's a lot easier to do it with joytick, more control etc... just practice until you get used to using one...

For myself jets = joystick, choppers = mouse. Play around with both in single player you'll soon find which you're most comfortable with.

JS. I don't like having to relocate the mouse 1000 times. Then again, I don't usually use jets or helos.

Joystick for sure. Put your ego beside and use a joystick. All the mouse/keyboard users are just making their life harder than necessary, IMO.

We are making it hard on ourselves because we are using a keyboard/mouse? How is that?

Flying a chopper with a mouse/keyboard or with a joystick is based on personal preference.

I would say try both keyboard/mouse and joystick to find out which way is best for you to fly a chopper.

ahhhh, try this one, I use a joystick and keyboard (more precise throttle) for the helo......though that probably explains why I can't fly a chopper for sh*t :-)

I use the k/b mainly, but if I'm ever in a hover, I'll use the mouse to give smoother movement for my gunner - I find this the best way to play for me, I could only just stay airborne with a stick
