I always take out my knife and fight if the other guy does, just for a change. However, if there are three other enemies around, i will shoot them first then knife fight him.

If i do that, the knife guy may reload his gun and shoot me, that is poor sportsmanship.

That was a good way to kill you, hell I would have used the flashbang to reload my gun and then shoot you. I only like to snake up on people with knife and in a group of people with knife.

i think it was a wussie move.....obviously a dude who cant cut it with a knife skill wise......

i ALWAYS take out my knife when being approached with a knife.....but then again, i usually have mine out anyway.....

im so sick of retards, who ive attacked with a knife, they happen to kill me.....they then take out their knife, and stab the ground.....that is retarded.....the are too scared to take out their knife while im alive......noob pusssies......i see that a real lot too....real annoying

if im approaching an enemy with a knife, i dont expect him to whip his out, but if he doesnt, and i die, i dont expect him to act like he's some tough bad-*** taking out a knife with a g36.......some people are idiots though, and i guess i should expect this

Knife duels are classic! Happens in CS all the time, when there are only 2 guys left on opposing teams. When they ask me to go somewhere to knife it out, I go there, let them come, pull out shotgun (or whatever else I have on me) and put the idiot to sleep. I mean, come on .. you're walking around with a machinegun and you want to fight with knives? Hell no..
As soon as someone proposes a duel, just blast him.

Exactly what I do, if Im the last left against a guy and he says 'knives?' i'll say yes and then shoot him with my primary.

If you want a "fair" knife fight, go to a knife and pistol server, then see what happens . But, imo, knife fights are just stupid since you have access to guns.

this is the sole reason i hate CS online or with anonymous poeople - players that play that game lack in certain areas -like fair sportmanship, reason etc. they'll do EVERYTHING to win. including cheating, exploiting etc...

and generaly are serious twats

as for the OP - i often get into knife fights, IF i got the chance to see that he is going for a knife fight, be sure that i took the challenge. and probably lost, as i suck with knife, but i like that dancing show [looks great in battlerecorder]

People who bring the gun to a knife fight and pretty lame in my opinion - People, its just a game, big woop if you die - Everyone can gun down a guy yeilding a knife, doesnt take much skill.

I always take out my knife, in fact i always try to initiate a knife fight and keep finding myselveds chasing people with knives. And yes i do die but does it bother me, no. I enjoy it and makes me laugh.

I play this game to enjoy myself to releieve strees - People who pretend that they are in real war and try to mimic everything soldiers do have issues.

You want real war, join the army and gun down all the knife yeilding maniacs.

Sometimes the knife is not a one knife kill aswell.

But in general it normally is and unless u hit the head with the M95 its not a one shot kill.

Imagine if the M95 was a one shot kill to the body, how many people would be selecting the sniper class? The maps would be flooded. We would be overwhelmed with snipers and would be frustrating to constantly be shot down by a sniper.

Well thats my view anyways ..
