i got the basic knife badge by being the commander that way u can use satalite scans to see "lone wolfs" and creep up on them.


or u could jump on a knife and pistol only server and then dissconnect when u get it

this is how i got mine

of course, it helps when you got a good mec team to keep the USMC team no further than the first capture point on karkand......

from the 2nd hotel, i spawned as medic and walked to the first (not sure how the buildings are assigned, sorry). sometimes i went around the fence, other times straight into their spawn point. stab, stab, occasional L85A1 to fight off the snipers on the hill, stab, stab, easy kills of spawns

got my deed done and stayed above 500

Just go into a enemy "camp" with some players and just knife everybody like crazy. Remember, it's only 7 kills, and knife is always a one-hit-kill. The pistol badge is a lot harder, because you need to shoot someone like 4 times before they die. Expert pistol was a real pain.

dont listen to anyone who says something retarded like "go to a high point server" or "go to a knife/pistol server" because this is stat-padding, and could get you reset, and alot of the kiddies here would like nothing more than to see other peoples stats reset

i got all my knife badges basic-expert twice.....all playing karkand 64 sized map, wth about 35-42 players.......

1. be medic, so you can self heal, get revive points too, and u get a nice long sprint

2. find a nice frontline squad, and join.....running to where the action is sucks...

3. use your sprint carefully....dont waste your sprint away, cuz when it comes stabby time, you'll be all slow and easy to kill...

4. use cover......everything can be used for cover.....corners, ledges, teamates, etc...

5. use evasive maneuvers......dont run straight at your target....i like to zig-zag like a mad man, and i throw in a jump or two, when i reach my target, i usually jump to the side, or behind, and crouch....knife kill

6. set your knife to an easy to reach key.....i did this, and after a while it was instinct to whip out my knife upon spawning...

7. if you choose to do it on karkand...be MEC.....that way there, it makes sense to cap flags too......when i am going for the knife kills, i only cap as MEC

i cant believe you got your pistol, and having trouble getting knife.....knife is way easier and way deadlier.......be preapred to take a hit on your KDR

Yeah no knife only servers or high point crap, but it's within the ROE to go to a karkand server with like 11/64 players, meaning the round will be high point but not against roe because the max player amount is still 64. But this should not be necessary for only 7 knife kills.

People should sometimes go to pistol/knife servers and play normally.. or is it also against the ROE?

I got my basic knife by running up to people when they were distraced by my team, proning and stabing then in the leg. Hope it helps!

Yeah I'm hanging out for my basic knife badge. Just got my basic pistol. Getting 7 kills with a knife seems pretty hard.

LMFAO 18 was hard

try Sharqui or Ghost Town 20/64, be commander, UAV all the time

I got the Expert on www.moongamers.com Oman. Its easy if you can make it to the Essex. Go as assault and use your flashbangs. It helps if your squad leader is with you and hiding on the Essex.

Yeah do it like this, then afterwords you can repeadetly tell yourself what a noob you are for attacking an uncap (carrier no less) for the easy kills. Instead of actually "earning" the badge.:hmm:

It really isn't that difficult if you employ dolphin-diving tactics.

I got my expert knifing snipers on the Sharqi TV station.

thats a trick question, you see, dolphin diving isnt a tactic at all.....its an animation exploit that no-skill pvssy douchebaggs use to avoid fire by jumping, and proning continuously......no self-respecting, or respectable player would resort to this loser 'tactic'

Just earn the badge with out statspadding on a knife/pistol only server. Besides if you get caught on those servers EA can wipe out your whole profile and you will start back at private.....so is it really worth the easy way to get the badge??

Learn to dolphin dive with the knife, practise...practise, practise, and then go after the prone snipers and reviving medics.

Got mine on Karkland....medics were the best targets

idiots like this make the game suck asss,, and shouldnt even be allowed to play.....they ruin it for everyone......and force DICE to nerf my character's movement........
