i doubt it will...

sky.con is saved in the server.zip file (hopefully for obvious reasons) and i hope that BF2 /pb only checks the client.zip, and not the server.zip

No problem. I just don't want new users to screw up there BF2 mod files whereby they are unable to play on-line.

I agree that it would be a cool way to play a city map like Karkand. All players no-fog.

and i tried this and pb stopped me so bleh no more karkand until my friend uploads me their server.zip file (stupid me) after seeing the pics, i thought he was playing online in game so i thought pb wouldnt do anyhting

You should only have edited sky.con.....

The answer is no.

Absolutely no edited BF2 mod files/folders or else you get kicked by PB or CTD because you and the server must be running the same mod.

Man BF2 looks 10x better w/o fog. Wish there wasn't fog...
