Call up your ISP and have them do a diagnostic from their end of your modem and line. If it checks out OK, then have them release your IP address and reassign it (sometimes helps). If nothing from the companies side works, then the problem is at your end. Test another dsl modem on your system. You can also check your firewall settings to see if BF is trying to use a blocked port and disconnecting you because it can not access it.
