Not always. They sometimes get to pick their weapons, depending on their outfit. Some might carry an M-4, M-16...and depending on the mission, they both could have a sniper rifle too.

There are a bunch of variables here.

i now im going to be criticized for saying this but the sniper kit is wrong in real life snipers dont have claymoore and they carry an assult rifle do defend themselfs along with the rifle and they need binoculars.

I aguee, Snipers do have Assulit Rifles to Defund themselfs. also snipers don't carry claymores
