i now im going to be criticized for saying this but the sniper kit is wrong in real life snipers dont have claymoore and they carry an assult rifle do defend themselfs along with the rifle and they need binoculars.

1. Snipers don't have C4, you just don't know one weapon from another.

2. They PROBABLY will not be seen carrying an AK47 around. Maybe they would carry the MP5 or other tiny submachinegun.

3. Binoculars are in the files, mod them into the game yourself.

Umm, Snipers dont have C4 in this game, and a sniper rifle and an assault rife would be too heavy.

Oh and the Chinese do use AK47's, they just call it the Type-56.

But they are replacing it with the spec-ops weapon in the game, the QBZ-95.

ya they do have ak47 the russians sold them the rights to make them and i ment claymoore and a mp5 would be good im happy with that or even an oozie

The sniper is fine in game besides the single zoom scope which is ****in stupid.

Correction: MP5 and Uzi, and I dont think I would want to use the same gun a Terrorist uses.

I said a gun that TERRORISTS USE. I didn't say the ones who made it were Terrorists, and I support them full on in their war.

And it's ISRAELIS. I'm starting to hate the internet because people can't even go a day without saying 50,000,000 words in bad grammar.

It depends on what type of sniper here. If you are talking about a directional shooting sniper, ya, they would have also have an assault rifle, and their spotter would be armed also. But a deep, behind the lines, assassin sniper, not likely he will be carrying anything except what he needs to move quickly and survive.

absolutely true.

a sniper in a forward area with just him and his spotter will most likely only be armed with his sniper rifle, while his spotter would have an m4 varient.

the sniper would definately have a pistol though.

Doesnt the spotter IRL for the sniper carry a M-16?

It depends. I think for sure they'd have a pistol. For the sniper who has something like an SVD I don't think they'd carry an assault rifle because their weapon is semi auto and would work better then an assault rifle for accuracy. Most of the time I don't think they fire assault rifles on full auto. In RL some of the time snipers work in 2 man teams one is spotting and one is sniping. The spotter has an assault rifle and binoculars. Also they could switch off if the sniper was injured or killed the spotter could make the shot for him or whatever. Plus the claymores in the game are wrong. In real life they are more like C4 in the game they are remote detonated. Plus anti personnel mines and even vehicle mines would probably be buried. You can't really compare the game to real life because in real life the sniper rifle would kill most enemies with a shot to the chest. 1 or 2 pistol shots would kill or disable an enemy. Pistol and knife are enough for self defense. Only thing maybe they could add is give the sniper something like smoke to help them get away instead of hand grenades. Because again in RL they don't would probably just wiegh them down.

Its kind of funny that the camouflage is suppose to help the sniper in BF2, yet it is easily seen from any distance, especially on urban maps.:p
