ahh right pass the buck time..., so why do you endorse the BFROE when you cant enforce it ?

So it seems the player is picked on rather than the server which is the main problem.

If there were no ranked K&P servers then ppl would go unranked then there wouldnt be a problem?

Seems the BFROE missed the mark yet again.

Its "Common sense" to go after the server admin or GSP for allowing this to happen. In effect by resetting players stats for playing K&P servers is saying..

"Its ok to have a K&P server ranked and online but NOT ok to play on them"

server owners and GSP's are being notified when illegal servers are being ran, they are also now actively doing their best to keep them off the ranked list..

it's a never ending job tho, but something is in the works, I can tell you that..

If we had the ability to be judge and jury people would say we have to much power. This would be the same as if a policeman caught you speeding and put you on trial right on the spot even though you say you never saw the speed limit sign.

EA wont ban alot of the servers cause alot of the admins are renting from EA so they will end up loosing money!so they just pick on the players

Although i doubt "official EA servers" would intentionally allow this just for monetry gain it does give that impression.

However if Indianscout says theres something in the works to combat this then i believe him. I just hope its a little better thought out than the current system.

On another note, the infantry only server setting is coming in on 1.4 yes? Isnt that the same thing? Im glad infantry only is coming, maybe people will learn to use a hand weapon and not cane the tanks and aircraft. Knife and pistol would be the most even playing field if it was allowed.

Im not sure on this one either ...., i think there wouldnt be a damn thing BFROE could do about it unless the server admin happend to kick/ban anyone that chose to use a vehicle.

not a damn thing. people will do what they want to do, ive seen agreements between enemy pilots not to shoot each other down so they can bomb freely, if the players agree then what can you do about it?

player enforced knife pistol will result in those players being dealt with and not the server owner, as they had no part in it..

how can you deal with players that only choose to use their knife/pistol? Thats like telling me i can only revive people on a sunday afternoon, im sure you understand what i mean and that it needs no further explanation.

players who initiate a vote kick on those who choose not to use knife pistol only to take control of a server can be dealt with, I see that alot..

and alot of them have been reset

I tell you people what, I Understand this whole BF2ROE stuff and aggree with it as far as it's a guideline to try and add some more rules to the multiplayer communmity however.

I think that anyone who gets their stats reset because of playing on a server that is not in the eyes of some of you ok, is STUPID. I mean come on people did BF2 say anything about this so called BF2ROE on the package or in the .dat files or in the so called user manuel?

NO so why should someones stats get reset when people are not notified in advance.

Tell you what I havn't gotten my stats reset however many of us have unknowingly entered a server only to find out it was a knife or pistol server and because we waited so long to load we stayed and played a bit. Tell you what if I ever do get my stats reset because of my unwanted knife or pistol episode ........this one would make it to court because thats just plain stupid. If ea wants to stop the crazyness then get rid of the servers all together. Ban the servers, fine the server owners but do not mess with you hard working everyday player who invested good money and normally had no idea of what they were getting themselves into when joining one of those servers. :laugh: :hmm: :cry: :|:

LMAO k&p servers are stupid anyway why buy a game with all these nice weapons and choose not to use them
