i think i am a pretty good commander i give orders all the time give arty supplies uav and vehical drop when they ask and i commend them when they do a good job

aommander mode sucks at times, u cant go sneaky and all that coz u get spoted in seconds, if at least u didnt show up under scan\uav while not moving

plus when they start dropping arty on one person only or on uncaps

but when I command, 5 seconds cant pass without me spotting or giving orders, I give it my all, it can be fun if in right hands

i was playing the gulf of oman, as commander (I'm ranked about 5K in commander points) and all the flags that are on the left were a huge firefight, while the Hotel and the beach flags on the right (coming from the carrier, sorry, can't remember their names) were totally empty. No bogies in sight, and i was basically PLEADING with my squads to cap them flags. Of course they wouldn't do it.

So while there is a fair share of terible commanders online, there are also a fair share of idiot squads. So rare is the game where people do as they are told. That's why you find yourself a good / great clan and hang with them exclusively.

i agree but think greedy bastards have something to do with it sometimes.

- remove the squad select order system and replace it with a team/area order system. basically this means that the commander posts info to the team rather than individual squads

- commanders and people who applied for commander cant get in armor or air attack vehicles, when you are in armor or an air attack vehicle, you cant select apply
