I have that same stick. For whats its worth....for aircraft, i dont roll with the twist function. I use the # 3 & 4 buttons on the top of the stick. Also use them same two buttons in the helos to roll left and right.

I find useing them buttons opposed to the twist gives me 100% better control of both vehicles. Try it....you may like it.

why would anyone roll with twist?

that should be rudder. rolling should be turning the stick left and right (not twisting).

are you mixin up your terms? What do you use left/right for? Rolling (or banking) is what I use them for.

Using a mouse is terrible but I find that using the arrow keys isn't that bad.

i just bought the logitech 3d pro joystick and boy, its waaaay better than M/K imho. i mean i can do so much more stunts with the joystick than with mouse...best of all ITS SMOOTHER!

now all i have to do is practice with the heli. its too damn sensitive =P

@ Leeham - What's wrong with logitech? I've used logitech products for years now and i cannot fault ONE.

i use WASD to control and then the joystick for everything else you would use the mouse for, and its absolutely amazing. at first i tried using just my joystick for everthing, bad idea... stick with WASD then use the joystick for everything else.

Troybob your settings rock Thanks, I'm going to calibrate the joystick (Sensitivity, Dead Zone or something and something else but I forgot the name of that one.

And Ghost your Idea might not be bad at all I'm going to try that one thanks for the tip.

i used my x52 for about 20 minutes and then got back to mouse and keyboard....shame =(
