sometimes the planes like SU and j-10 just DEFLECT the missles. the missles bounce off and fly off to the side. Hell, choppers even deflect arty! i seen my arty hit the chopper, and bounce off into a random direction before

anyone else laugh as you fire off your missles at a F35 and they flare yet the missles still go for the plane no matter what..No matter what you shoot at a F35 it seems the flares dont even ruin the AA missles path..yet a J10 can go the whole round without evening flaring..lol odd.

It is almost impossible to hit the J10/Eurofighter with missles from a distance. The Su-34 and the F-18 is also a very good missle avoider. Yes, the aircrafts are unbalanced, needs fixing.

the choppers are most annoying for that unless your right behind and slow down to dropping speed you cant hit them.

Fix: Flares to become pysical objects and missiles to detonate on impact with them.

hehe... imagine the fun in releasing your flares to have your bandit run into them and blow up from the collision mesh. :laugh:

I wish that idea could be implemeted though... but unfortunatly I fear that if left up to DICE to do, the above scenario would be all too real for lack of forethought.

From the perspective of an avid AA player, flares work exceptionally well. AA missles rarely hit after flares are deployed. A lot of pilots however, tend to stay in the general area after they deploy flares and all I have to do is wait for them to fall and I'm instantly locked back on to the aircraft.

Jets - j10 in particular - can also "outrun" their flares thus rendering them inneffective. All I have to do is follow the jet as it moves and as soon as the flares are off of the targeting screen, then I'm locked on again.

I beg to differ. On Wake yesterday, not surprisingly in a J10, i was an inch away from an AH-1Z going FULL SPEED when I fired a missle, and it still hit it.:hmm:

If eveyrone knows it, then why am I constantly shooting guys down who make these mistakes?

Besides, all you dogfight boys are just targests for my linebacker anyway.

Isn't =l{opfschuss='s Avatar a bit offending.. Well I find dogfighting the most annoying part I don't really have special moves or something though I can get kill streaks from 55-0 etc. lately and in F35B around 30 but higher than that I can't.. I'm waaay more in chopper than plane.. ^^
