Yes, I did watch it before I posted. Yes, it does look like a macro because it's the same pattern. But we can't be sure without breaking down his door and taking a look at him while he plays.. so

Maybe Volx does use macros, maybe not, who cares!

My original point was that everyone's reaction to someone (anyone!) doing this/solo guiding is:
OMG macro machine!!
I've been called that, it's especially funny because my keyboard is at least 10 years old... a little bit before the time of programmable keys.. :laugh:

Why does everyone automatically assume someone is using macros when they prone spam, solo TV, whatever else...
It's NOT HARD TO DO without macros, you just need good key bind placement and timing. Maybe Volx does use macros, maybe not, who cares!
(I'm not saying I do prone spam, I prefer bunny hopping.:))

the g15 macros dont work in bf2 i have that keyboard and it doesnt work at all

Maybe you aren't setting them up correctly. My friend got his joystick all set up with it.

Badges don't really mean much for skill, they could just be stat padders.

In my case, I use the badges to make myself more well rounded.

Never met anyone who I thought was that good, I am the greatest, check my accuracy, it should be 100% but I have OCD and absolutely have to fire the rest of the mag into the air after every kill, that's the only time I'm ever actually killed myself, also have the same problem with all other kits and vehicles.

Seriosishly tho,

I've played with a lot of good players, nastie_butler joined my squad once for 30 mins and was a stupidly good medic, and a few chopper pilots i've jumped in with have been an education to say the least. However sadly it seems the qualification for top of the league is pretty selfish play on karkand in armour or something very similar for a very very long time.

However there is hope and light, today I joined a squad and the SQL found a point and provided a spawn to attack from. Today, right then, he was the best player I knew, no doubt about it, I actually felt proud of the guy and didn't care if he had 237 points or 237 thousand. (Can't remember his name tho, which is a shame otherwise he'd enjoy the limelight for about two more posts)

lol accuracy doesn't matter in BF2 as a stat anyway. Because you have to give covering fire and do other things that won't give you that good of accuracy. On BF2S the guy who has the highest accuracy rating has shock paddles as his most used weapon.

I've played with and against him a few times, the prone spam/jumping doesn't bother me as i play competetive so i'm use to it. However say what you want about the way he plays he is a good squad player, won't hesitate to take your kit and revive you constaly dropping ammo bags so you have always got ammo. He doesn't die all that often either so he makes a good squad leader.

Now i've played with/against him more than most here have and it's obvious he is using macros, his routine is just too perfect. I'm well aware it's possible to do these things without macros but you can't do it for a whole round in a cycle that perfectly repeats every time for a whole round without stuffing up once or twice.

so with your logic you must support hotel glitching on karkand, i mean ea fudged it up, youd just be using it to your advantage. just because its there doest mean its ok to do, its called judgment and some have more than others, laying down on top of the usmc hill in karkand and doing nothing but hitting the macro button to lob nades in on the spawn area is not skilled or prudent play, its weak.

Macros to lob nades? You're even dumber than I thought. Macros are not as prevelent as people think they are. It doesn't take macros to dolphin dive or ground hump or any of that ****, and it certainly doesn't take macros to lob nades, I have no idea where you came up with that ****. Clearly going through a wall or hacking is an exploit which is not allowed. Dolphin diving is in no way an exploit. It it simple a way of pressing buttons, not glitching inside a wall.

Yeah I've played with him before on the Internode server. Not really a squad player, more of a "I'm only after the kills" kinda player. Each to their own I say. I just can't imagine how playing like that is fun or enjoyable. I'd rather have my sh!tty stats (which aren't that bad really :) hehe), playing team based strategies, than simply jumping around like an idiot.
