I like this story and just forwarded it to my girlfriend. Dropping hints you see.

However, I don't think I'll push too much until I buy her a pc of her own as I don't want the competition to use my machine. I'm like the computer Nazi and don't want to share, the Pc is my bribe to move to Australia first over Canada and I went waaaay over budget. You should have seen her face as I added more and more parts. The Extreme internet package would have sent her over the edge if I didn't get half off for working for the company that provides it.

That being said I can't make her do anything she doesn't want to do. That's why I love her, she doesn't put up with my crap and well, I need to be told sometimes or I wouldn't respect her but she lets me get my way often enough to keep me happy.

She doesn't know it yet but when we move to Australia I'm getting a second GeForce7600 GT and another gig or 3 of ram one at the least.

My wife actually finds BF2 a little "tame". No blood, just dust. All soldiers, no civillians.
She wants a game where you can kill innocents, involves nudity/sex, crime etc. I've suggested GTA but she says it's too tame as well. Any suggestions?

Nice story, but whats worse than coming home from a particularly boring day at work, where you've spent all day dreaming of shooting someone, and you get home to see your lass on your PC playing BF2.

And even worse she's giving you the line you usually give her, "I'll just be 10 minutes love" which we all know turns in to hours!

Are you saying you do put your middle finger on the W or you are against it? Otherwise, great story. I been working on the wife for a while to try to get her to understand how i feel about playing BF2. She is ok with me playing, but doesn't have any desire to try it herself. I did let my 6 year old daughter play on the single player. She likes it!!!!
