While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Ranked servers are for getting unlocks. Once you get the unlocks play unranked.
who cares about unlocks, I do fine with the originals. The MP-5 is by far my favorite gun ingame, in close quarters that thing is a beast, and use controlled bursts to get the guys farther away. I dont need the next new thing to keep me playing, I play because its fun, and thats all I need
I have played in tournments since the game started. And have not experienced half the crap I have seen posted in this forum. I pub rarely and It looks like it will be even less with all the hacks that seem to be popping up. I can say may experience with BF2 has been awsome. Medals and ranks mean nothing I play for the team aspect of the game.
bf2 wil disinegrate once quake wars comes out the community will be all split up. the noobs will foolow ea to 2142 and the others will go to quake wars to get away from ea. Bf2 is on the verge of desruction the mods will control most of the game community in afew months

I cant wait for some full force mod action....That will keep BF2 alive for atleast another year....

You're all a load of absolute cranks. I actually quite like having stats and a rank, stuff like that appeals to me. And no, I don't whip off my belt and have a ham shandy when I'm awarded a basic sniper badge, it's just fun hearing that drum roll and being congratulated on being great by a computer game.
Bf2 is not on the verge of imploding, far from it. As for Quake Wars, I couldn't give a toss. It just looks a bit silly to me.

BF2 is def far from dying....kids like to say it just like they like to spam things with "hotmail isnt going to be free anymore"....AOL is going to start charging for AIM.....MYSPACE is deleting all accounts unless you reply to this....crap like that.... I mean people still play BF42 and BFV, I personally still have the latter installed on my machine :)
I have both BF42 and BFV installed and play them both regularly. They both still have many populated servers and will continue to for a long time, and so will BF2
BF2 will be like counter strike. Alot of people,will still be playing it in years to come.
I think the ranked servers may die out, unless EA fixes or starts to take action against the hackers/people selling hackers. Players will play the unranked servers.
Past couple of nights I have played the best rounds in ages. No lag, no disconnections, no smacktards, no hackers, played all the maps not just the city maps it's been great.
V1.00 unranked servers are definitly the future of BF2. When 2142 comes out all the lamers will convert and well be left with the real gamers.
