I don't mind it so much but sometimes it can be annoying, but what can ya do eh.

Can't really stop it because then the whiners will complain how the commander can't spot enemies lmao.

See that's the beauty of it, not everyone is going to whine; and those that are in favor will post why they like the spam, such as yourself.

I never stated that I liked it. I just explained why it is a necessary annoyance given the current limitations of the BF2 engine.

Well when im commander I usually get someone on my team whining at me to stop spotting, because when im commander, I spot any enemy, if an enemy gets through the net, I spot them until they are terminated :).

I had a commander do that, but yet nobody but me went after the guy. We had all the flags on 32 man Karkand except for Gatehouse, and the guy managed to neutralize hotel WITH the tank and APC rolling by. I killed him and recapped the flag, so it wasn't that bad, but if it had turned around I would've left that server because of the tards on my team.

there is something nice, when while on a trip to blow their assets commander spots badguys that might pose a problem. you see them, you kill them or avoid them.
it is nice when commander spots that lone dot, lone wolf swimming for a factory on karkand.
it is nice, when commander keeps spotting planes when im in one. it helps IMMENSELY in dogfights

even if commander spots the same person 10 times, i still prefer him to do it instead of quietly farming his 2x bonus [which is highly unlikely if map is not karkand and you are not playing usmc]

all who are annoyed with commander spam cheat [so they see everyone] or simply play for carnage and dont f.. care about how the round ends. because it is flag that wins the round. and spotting can save it

"Enemy spotted" over and over is ok for me but "Enemy Forces?" all the time is annoying! How I wish to reply "Dumb Commander Spotted"!
