I dont like having gunners for a very selfish reason; I want all the kills. I have yet to get the Helicopter Service Ribbon and I dont need some gunner to get in my way.
your point is stupid because the higher you fly the more likly you are to get lit up by aa guns..........noob
That definately is a NOOB remark. Higher you fly is better because of AOA.If you don't know what that is, keep your comments to yourself. Also, if you cant avoid AA you suck and shouldn't be flying.
5 types of people i hate when it comes to choppers
5. pilots who try to set you u for a TV missle but tilt the nose so high, you cant even see your target and just hover there waiting for you
4. pilots who try to cap a falg in the attack chopper and get killed by something lame like an APC.
3. Gunners who can't guide or dont know about Tv missles.
2. Gunners who are legally blind. I can be right infront of a tank or a person and they would not even see them
and the #1 on my most hated list are the retard gunners. Im talking about the ones that shoot tanks and other choppers with the cannons and try to kill infantry with the TV missle.
Ok granted I don't play "jet maps" but as far as city maps like sharqi go...
If you are new to gunning, use this system as a foundation on what is MOST important for you to blow up/kill:
1- S (stingers)
2- H (humvee)
3- I (infantry)
4- T (tanks)
22.75 chopper k/d ratio, 84 kill streak (average 40-60 though) using this system.
I'm not bragging by any means, I'm sure plenty have better stats, but the bottom line is, if you take out the things that are most dangerous to you (cars and stingers) FIRST, you can and will stay alive.
Communication is a must too.
Make a squad, invite your gunner/pilot and be his second set of eyes.
"stinger is up, humvee just spawned, kill it" and so forth.
UM...first off ownage in MEC chopper on Sharqi isnt hard to do.
Second, the first thing to take out is the other teams chopper, then stingers
Third, if you leave me in a tank for your last to to go after, then you will be dead. Its really easy to kill a chopper on Sharqi with armor, a lot of hills to be able to point cannon high into air.
ALso, I can hold my own with pilot or gunner, But im surely not the best. However a crappy gunner gets a few chances with the TV missle, if nothing goes then I switch to low flying attack chopper, easy as that. If he sucks at gunning, then I pretty much ignore he is there
With comm between gunner and pilot, WTF, just Q button and spot. If a gunner or pilot from that matter can't hear and see the red tank flashing on the map, then they need to get out of what ever seat they are in.
Also what is sorta funny is your 84 kill streak equals to only a 155 BRS, hum, shooting whatever moves I see??

I invite you to check his stats before commenting...
It's basically all MEC/Sharqi time: connect the dots.
I invite you to read what I posted one more time my friend.

Sharqi has always been my favorite "city" map (something about Karkand just turns me off) and one of the keys to success at that map is neutralizing the opposing team’s chopper.
For the longest time (on some of my older accounts) I never bothered with choppers, but for a few months now I've been playing a game of "let's harass the MEC and keep their chopper out of the air for the entire game" just for the fun of it.
I play both sides equally (actually I play American slightly more) as well.
Sometimes we go steal the MEC chopper, sometimes we let him up and shoot him down over and over.
And like I said, if a gunner takes out the cars and stingers first, infantry and armor are a breeze to deal with.

that acronym was just for what you should be aiming for. It wasnt prioritized. reading comprehension for the win

This shows your lack of tactical knowledge as a gunner, I'm sorry but it does.
If you honestly think the only threats are the vehicles that are currently occupied, you are sadly mistaken.
Ask any skilled gunner out there, the key to staying in the air (as far as ground elements go) is taking out threats before they become threats.
Most pub players I've flown with don't think about things like this, they just look for kills anywhere they can find them.
You get a guy who is just looking for little ants to shoot on the ground in your gunner seat... you get shot down fast, trust me.
This is why squad VOIP communication is essential when dealing with a "newbie" gunner/pilot.
If my pilot/gunner us leaving us severely exposed to threats, I just key the mic and tell him "I'm going to swing you around but before you even think about shooting at people, blow up the stinger station and parked cars first".
It goes both ways too.
I've had several pilots who want to "line me up" for spawn raping... yet they don't even bother to think about the 3 parked cars sitting right behind us 20 feet away from another spawn point...

OH... I wasnt knocking against VOIP!! it is a must, I was saying that at least use the Q spot with the map. I lost count of the times I am with a gunner or pilot I dont know and not using voip. I do the Q spot and it flashing on the screen. I can't belive how many people just totally ignore that!!
