wel im over here at my dads house and he has a XPS 600 with 2 gigs of ram and a nvidia 6800,high graphics are simply mmazing,wish my dad would give me his rig as u know i have a 5500 fx at my house and its a huge setback than from wat im playing here.

The heirarchy is PCI-Express > AGP > PCI.

My brother built himself an awesome rig with an X850 and Athalon XP64 and I'm just amazed at how well his game runs on max settings when my game runs like crap with an X800 and Athalon XP 2500+ at medium settings.

I just upgraded to what I have below (look at sig) and I have to agree. It makes playing more fun when you don't have to deal with lag and stuttering and the occasional lockup or two.
A decent pci-e setup doesn't cost you an arm and a leg anymore.

The pest PCI card out there is the 5600 IMHO, and the best AGP card is the 7800GS. PCI-E > AGP > PCI.

You cant help your Ping a whole lot. Its Determined by your provider and the server you're in. (your ping is higher if the server is on another continent for example)
