sharqi needs some fixing

ok this is what I hink they should have done to sharqi, make the TV station a uncapable USMC flag and make the MEC heli pad flag the only MEC uncappable flag, make all the other flags grey and of course remove that tow thing at the hotel


TV station uncappable would reduce the chopper spawn raping for sure and USA would have more chance to win if they had an uncap flag

who agrees?

if a noob pilot is flying the chopper and having his gunner spawn rape the building then of course Ill be able to defend it but what if an expert pilot comes by.................I'm not an expert but I could probably circle around that building without getting shot for the whole round

Most times I play Sharqi as US I defend TV. I've had expert pilots and expert gunners circle the station the entire round and never die. US starts off with all the bases. Other than the US pilot and gunner and the tanker, everyone else should spawn out at the other bases. I've defended TV with a two man squad. Ideally, they can circle around it all day and kill no one. We stay inside so they cannot kill us. If the rest of the team is out protecting flags, then there is no one to shoot at around TV.

If you can defend TV, then there is no reason to make it an uncappable.

I just thought it would be more fair if the map was set up this way

I'm sure they are, but I haven't heard any from Sharqi though. Mostly Wake and Oman, IMO.

All it takes is a squad of 3 co-ordinated players to hold the TV station :-/

1 Sniper - Positioned at the top of the TV station
1 Support - positioned in the stairway
1 Special Forces - Position with the support guy

lol if u put the whole team up there ur not gonna be able to stop a good pilot from circling around and having his gunner blast u every time u spawn

Sharqi is perfectly fine, with the possible exception of the Hotel TOW pixel shots ... but even that isn't too bad. It's purely team imbalances that make the map seem biased.

But hey, if we go by your idea and change TV Station into an uncappable base ... then why stop there? Turn the MEC main base on Karkand into an uncappable as well! That will pretty much eliminate any of this 'strategy' garbage people keep talking about, and keep the fight right where it needs to be - narrow choke points easily farmed for points by both infantry and armor!
