Try joining our server and see if PB kicks you, then take a screenshot of the PB kick reason and post it up here.

If its just a global guid ban then you will need a new CD key to be able to play BF2 again. If its a global hardware ban then you would be banned from all PB games. The only way you can get hardware banned is if you at some stage were caught by PB using a hack that alters PB itself. If its a global guid ban then you were also caught using a hack but one that doesn't alter PB.

Put in a ticket at evenbalance.com, they have test servers which you can jump onto as well to verify it.

Only he doesnt need the PID, he needs the GUID Issued by Punkbuster, which he has now. The PID is issued by either EA or Gamespy, not PunkBuster.

Some times PB make some errors... at some time i have a hardware banned.... i apeal and they give me rigth.....

Yes, I have sent in a ticket and am currently awaiting a reply. As for buying a new game, would I still be able to use my old account or would I have to create a new one?

Besides I rather not buy a new game yet since the ban was a mistake/error and it wouldnt be very fair to me to dish out another $49.99 for something I didnt do.

Anyways, thanks for all the help everyone. I guess all I can do now is wait for the ticket to go through and hopefully get a responce soon. You guys were very helpful, it is much appreciated.

Isn't the PB hardware ban generated based on a random piece of hardware? Like you may need a new processor if it was from that? Was that just a myth?

It's true, if you get a hardware ban you pretty much need to get a new computer.

at punksbusted.com it says list is delayed by 30 days i believe, so u may not b on it yet. tell us wat happens

I have access to the database so it even shows clean guids. He has a leaked key. Someone probably hacked with your key and got it banned by EvenBalance. You'll need to contact EA and try to get a new key from them.

Tw1st, you wanna let us know what the outcome is.

MAC Address has been banned.......a new computer is a hard price to pay for hacking.......unless you can prove that your MAC address has been hacked.......and that is unique to all computers...........so you are a hacker......or you where hacked via a shell account and didnt have your computer secure so.......................bad deal all the way around.

He is not hardware-banned since he can still play other PB games so that shouldn't be a problem. From what I've read you basically need a new hard drive and network card if you get hardware-banned. This looks like just a CD-key ban.
