Banned GUID from server.

Ok, so I havent played BF2 for little over a month and today decided to give it another go since I really love the game. To my suprise, I find that every server I try to join kicks me out just after a few seconds after going in with a lovely "Punkbuster Error Message" telling me that my "GUID has been permanently banned from the server"... how lovely... So... I proceed to do some research about the issue and a try a number of things, I went to the pb site and tried updating my PB with PBsetup.exe and even manually downloading files and placing them into my BF2/pb folder, I tried reinstalling the 1.3 patch... and still no results... So, I finally decided to register on these forums since they seem to be widely popular, and I present my problem to you. Does anyone have any tips for me as to what I should do or who I should contact with my problem? I'm really looking forward to playing again, soon. Thanks in advance.

I have never installed any cheats on my computer. All I have running in the background is my anti-virus and firewall.

Besides it said I was banned from the server not the game...

All you can do is buy a new copy.

Have you tried other servers?

If you honestly haven't done anything nasty, I'm guessing that your key was somehow hi-jacked.

You need to contact EvenBalance. They are the only ones that can deal with this, but you'd best be prepaired to present some proof that you haven't used a stolen key yourself and/or that you've not done anything else naughty.

GLOBAL PB ban means every server that uses PB.

Yes I have tried other server, and get the same message. I don't understand how someone could have hi-jacked my key, I never gave it to anyone... Could you please tell me how to contact even balance...

Well you can go to punksbusted.com and search the master ban list and find out why you were banned.

Actually I don't think that will help either. It didn't say his CD key was banned. If you can't get EvenBalance to un-ban you then you'll need to create a new account.

My understanding is that this has nothing to do with punksbusted. That is simply a list of banned IDs which servers have the option to use to ban people if they want to. Your ban is absolute on any server running punkbuster.

Your GUID is generated from your CD key. New CD key, new GUID.

Some times PB make some errors... at some time i have a hardware banned.... i apeal and they give me rigth.....

no I have never used anything with bf2.... Also the ticket asks me for my GUID how can I get my GUID if i cant join a server and type pb_myguid?!
