altho im a huge support fan every since i got teh pkm it took me a while to get teh hang of it , just hang in there and you will get teh feeling and the know how .

Even unzoomed y can aim very far and very accurate but it just takes gettin used to how the gun works really .

The ironsights make it a damn sniper rifle. But you need to get the hang of it and learn to shoot in single shot and bursts.

from testing(not finished yet) the pkm iron sight is off.

the acctual centre of the aim is to the right of the centreline of the ironsight.

thats all im saying at the moment but you can alsways give it a try and see if you agree with me.

i dont use support very often but when i do burst are better.

cqc prone/spray

medium range prone/ironsights/short bursts

long range prone/ironsights/single shots

this is what works best for me

I was taking 2 shot bursts without the sights last night on Wake and was picking off guys with relative accuracy from across the bridge. Same with Mashtuur City. I'm going sightless from now on!

If I'm reading the weapon chart right. The zoom modifier is 1.0, which is no change in acc. All zoom does is reduce recoil (Recoil While Zoomed=0.5) So it's really just a matter of how good are you at aiming without the iron sights?

easy: first go prone no matter what. second: for close combat dont use ironsight or burst or whatever, just shoot. For longer distance use iron sight and fire the bullets one by one. If you are lucky you can kill a man with ONLY 2 shots but usually 3.

I was thinking "How is this any better than having a sniper rifle?" But then I started mowing guys down quicker, getting tons of grenade spam kills and rockin the CQC. Plus it's cool to be a heavy.

Dont use the PKM. Use the MG36. It is much more accurate. It may not be as powerful, but u get more shots in. Its also a great as a sniper rifle.
