I do not ask for DICE/EA to nerf things, but it would be better if they lowered this, but not lowered it in that way. What I think it should have, to prevent both C4 chucking, Claymore whoring etc is have maybe something like:

15 Explosive kills IAR
1000 - 5000 Global explosive kills

It's just they did it with the knife, but I think they should have done it with the Explosives badge as well, I have gotten my explosives badge before but the server connection error'd and crashed. But thats not the point, point is that lowering from 37 to 30 has made it easier but not 100% easier. I don't Jihad jeep, but now that thats against the ROE its harder again for people to expert.

So I think that it should depend on global scores, since thats what they did to the knife.

Also with Ranks, since they are easier in a way to obtain, especially the beggining ones, and now alot of people have hit 3 stars, so say in a year, there will be 100,000's of people with 3 stars and no more ranks to get, people imo like working towards a target or towards something.

Jihad Jeeping is against the ROE? I thought it was just an option for server admins to enforce. I cant wait to see the first report of jihad jeeping come in at BFROE.com. Im gonna laugh my *** off.

Examples of such rules that are acceptable are:

(a) Players may not use explicit, offensive or racist language in-game.

(b) Players may not impersonate clan members or other server administrators.

(c) Players may not deliberately performing actions that hinder their own team (such as last-minute team-swapping to increase scores or statistics, excessive team-killing, destroying friendly vehicles, attacking team-mates,

deliberately placing themselves in a situation so they cause another player to team-kill them, using a vehicle while being the Commander that prevents them from performing any Commander functions (jet, etc.) or placing vehicles to block their own runways.

(d) Making attacks on enemy main bases (flags that cannot be captured), including artillery strikes, vehicle drops to block runways, bombing runs with aircraft or sustained infantry attacks. (Note that specific attacks targeting the enemy commander’s asset buildings are always allowed, even if they are within the enemy main base.)

(e) Using transport helicopters to quickly capture all flags with no attempt to engage the other team (flag hopping).

(f) Using C4 explosives on fast-moving vehicles to destroy other vehicles (C4-ramming)

(g) Ignoring requests from Server Administrators or abusing Server Administrators.

yeh thats why i kinda wish they left it non-no0b friendly, i mean in a week i made corporal. in hte old system in a week i was till private.

It's NOT against the ROE, it is an acceptable rule for a private ranked server... just becasue it's an option doesn't mean many or any will use that rule.

Also, there is noob jihad jeep kills (ram with C4 attached without exiting vehicle) and more skilled jihad (exit vehicle and detonate and live). I have seen rules against noob style, but allowing skilled style and rules against any form of C4 jihad.

BTW, if you want expert, do get on a big map, low slot server and use combinations of claymores, mines and C4 during a long round. Or, you could do what many do and go onto a busy Warlord or Karkand map and just Claymore the typical spots. You need a partner to resupply to make sure you get it. It's way easier than jihad jeeping 30 kills.

i tired many times to get mine in a 64 man karkand server but i get average of 20 and nothing more. i need the conditions ro be all right but it just doesnt happen. For mw to get my expert on a 64 man map i need no bases to be capped so i can claymore the hotel. Also i need a squad leader who does not die and a supporet guy handy, but you dont get they conditions very often

I dont wanna go on a warlord, low player high slot server as it bores me to death and i hate jihad jeeps. PLus i cant really do it right :laugh:, ill try to get it once i get a lil more higher in ranks

Your Captain, thats pretty high lol. I usually go for an award everytime im able to, the only awards I can currently get right now are Crew specialist and Expert Explosives. I should be able to get Crew Specialist, but Expert Explosives is hard, because you need the right time and situation to get 30 kills, round needs to last long, lots of people etc. Jihad Jeeping is against the ROE, and im not going to break that. So the only fast method is C4 chucking, but people hate that.

I have been trying for mine for like a week no luck. C4 claymore atank nothing. i have like 6 experts this one is giving me the hardest time.

when me and my bro both have a computer each, ill probably try for it :P

he can be my squad leader and give me ammo crates will i throw c4 everywhere and claymore everywhere :P

But yea, if i ever reach the big ranks ie general then ill need expert explosives

I used the suicide bomb method to get my veteran. i agree its about imposible to get even 10 kills without jihad jeeping or chucking c4s.

You gotta be clever about it, you can trick people. This works for infantry and tanks etc....you loiter around corner buildings, plant your ordinance and lure the enemy to walk/run/hammer round the corner and you either get your AT mine kill, claymore kill if its infantry of course, or detonate your C4! Also i find a lot of people never try to hide C4, flag poles is a good'un! and on trees in karkand, two will take out anything as long as your timing is right.

My friend just pulled off the Expert Ordinence the other day. But he did it with a clean-legit way. He ran behind the lines, put C4 on the BH, a full squad got in, bird takes off, BOOM!!!. The flaming hulk falls on 4 guys that could not get in. 10 kills right there with one C4 package.

I think it is possible. Just need to get the High Point Server argument defined first!

I think it is possible. Just need to get the High Point Server argument defined first!

Sweet I used to do that on stalemate a few patches ago when BH was a monster, never could get the 20 or 30 kills needed for badge.

Anyway, as for that badge i've just deemed it impossible to get in anything under Godly perfect curcumstances. I'm horrible with C4 and Ridiculusly unlucky so it'll jus tbe something to get if i find that everything is going perfectly.

If you have SF, get on Warlord when the SAS take one of the flags at the palace. Then spawn as sniper or spec ops and claymore/c4 the stairs that go from the main foyer to the 3rd floor, and right by the balcony where everyone hops over to rush the flag on the second floor. 1 c4 drop can take out 4-5 guys at a time if they are rushing. Tons of people spawn as supply as well, so you can reload effortlessly.

Also, I wouldnt do it, but jihad jeeping isnt against even the new ROE, but it can be agaisnt server rules. C4ing a transport vehicle and waiting for the enemy to take it is a good idea too.

37 was creazy just like the expert knife but reachable. Dont nerf anything except the ARMOR COMBAT BADGE. I hate armor whores.

back on subject if you want the badge find a good server and be the commander and use UAV for yourself. C4 flags, jihadjeep, make stealth runs on hiding squads and C4 them. In that round I had a lot of mutiny and kick vote but none of them succeed
