lol so I played on dalian, I spawned first like I do most of the time and heres how fast I spawned lol

I had time to take the J10, fly to the carrier and steel the cobra

killed two of them after they spawned too, base raping right at the start of the match :p

oh man I remember when I had 1 gig of ram, by the time I joined the battle was on big time lol:laugh: plus i had to wait a couple of minutes till all the lag was gone, I wasnt even able to play maps like OCS, so laggggyyy

I know how you feel. For the first 3 months I had the game, it would take 2 minutes to load a round and the graphics were on low. With the computer I have now, it takes 30 seconds and every thing is set to high.

Do you really find the RAM makes a big difference? I have 1 gig. What did you upgrade to?

I had a Gig not so long ago. And was one of the first to spawn ? Depends on the others playing.

Since one of my Cosair 512Mb's went faulty, had to take it out. OMG it lags at the start. Oh well, nades galore

oh man upgrading to 2 gigs made the game run so smooth

its getting laggy on me again lately, I have to clean up my pc probably coz I used to get about 90 fps but now Im getting 25-50 fps

but as i said operation clean sweep map was lagging so bad with one gig but when I upgraded it was so smooth, I was suprised lol

You would trade the J-10 for a cobra! Shame on you!

I too share the joy of being one of the 1st few in a server after a map load, really helps to get into those must-have vechiles. Although 'verifying client data' seems to take ages since 1.3 came out

2 gigs of DDR 500 Ram. (Mushkin Redline.... expensive stuff).
ATI X1900xtx.... not one, but two of them. :)

So Yeah, I am always the first in the server. Feels great. Not to mention I play on my widescreen monitor. Flying jets, playing infantry, everything is set to high quality. Anti-Aliasing is set to 4x. Frames never ever have ever skipped, lagged, or hiccuped, ever.

oh yea i got

amd 4000+ 2.4ghz
2 gigs corsair
7800gtx 256mb

and Im waiting for nvidia g80 to come out, I play all on max and i do get lag coz my pc is full of god knows what, Im sure its gonna run smoother when i reformat the HDD

even games like HL2 lag, none of these games lagged before

Im first in most of the time but its my crappy processor that lets me down only a 3.2 AMD 64 but the rest of my specs i would say are still good

yeah 1.3 really killed my performance, i use to run medium effects/texture, but now im down to all low

I obv have worded this wrong its a 3200+ amd 64 but running at 2.02ghz lol
