How do you feel about BF2? (1 like, 1 dislike)

A little change of pace from the usual essays of what people like and dislike. Let's all post the #1 thing you like and the #1 thing you dislike. 1 of each please! (user the smilies for fun ) I'll start:

Variety in classes gives seemingly infinite replay value.
Unstable gameplay (server crashes, lag, stutter) is common on large servers.

Gameplay, vehicles, classes, weapons etc (side note: maps and graphics too)

The stupid crashes to desktop, Dice's crappy patches, making such a good game turn into frustration, what kind of company releases patches like that? morons.

Very intense gameplay moments when playing with good players in squads.
That damn THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION crap.

Gameplay, vehicles, classes, weapons, maps, graphics

Bugs, gameplay issues, performance issues, maps removed (like the SF ones), graphics not as good as they were in the E3 trailers and whatnot, crappier physics (those green canisters could fly into the air when an explosion happened near them), vehicles removed (LCAC, civilian cars, rocket pod blackhawk), features removed (lots of audio and radio chatter never made it in, I think you could sink the Essex, laser designation, more destructible environments, different gameplay modes Supply Line and possibly Deathmatch), crappy menu system (those early versions of the menu system looked great),

Oh my =S

EDIT: I know you asked for one thing but I have a an equally strong dislike for all those dislikes I listed

:) ONE GAME, and I can shoot people... fly a plane, drive a tank.... or fly a helicopter, or drive a boat. This game does plane (dog fighting) and tank fighting better than most flight sims and tank games.

People fighting over planes and vechiles.... EA releases so much expansion packs which splits up the community.

The VOip.

I was against any ingame comms, because I'm a die hard believer in dedicated programs for certain jobs.

But it works well, and my freind who has kids likes the fact that it reduces game sounds during a transmission. He can't wear headphones because of the kids, so it's better then dedicated communication. I still get some of my message and some of his background sounds when we "walk" on each other (opening two mics simutanously). But it's better then other comms that don't reduce game sounds.

I was actually pleasantly suprised at it's ease of use and it's transmit and recieve levels for each player. I know people have had problems with it simply not working, but when it does, it's not all that bad. It's also much more accessible to players who are less likely to download and configure a seperate program.

Yeah the in game VOIP is good, but something like TeamSpeak is so much cleaner for me. It works flawlessly, and I like that a lot.

I like intense games agenst very good players on karkand. The teams are even with the good players.

I hait unlocks, arty, Connection probs. Game crashing when you join a server and not being able to squad hop. Also the new 1.4 patch thats comeing out.


WE DONT NEED ****ING CHANGES IN THE GAME, WE JUST NEED FIXES SUCH AS THE Ground to air and air to air missiles. Crash to desktop, Conn probs and such.

Intense battles, be it with armor, aircraft or ground pounding it.

Lack of new maps+people that complain that medals are too tough to get(n00bs) :rofl:

Earning medals for playing well

Unlucky spawn points, only seeing the respawn screen.. Spawn killers, squadleader next to greenade, revived at 14.9 seconds next to a tank consectutively.. then getting THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION.. yay, reason to stop playing..

There is always something to do. diffrent kits to play with. graphics. vehicles.

CTDs. server crashes. basic knife badge to hard to get.
