I've tried the sniper route, shoot with your main gun then finish them off with a pistol...

I tried going a medic, a burst wtih the G36E and then finish them off.

I tried Support, soften them up with grenades then finish them off with pistol.

Any pointers on getting 18 kills IAR with a Pistol?

aim for the head and or the back ( if they are facing the other way its critical damge)

a headshot with a pistol takes 2 bullets...........it's freaking frustating seeing so much dust coming off one's face but yet they are still alive

Just pick a class that has suppressed fire on the pistol (spec ops or sniper) since the pistol makes a decent fire blast with each round. I found I got the most amount of pistol kills this way but ended getting mine after I chose medic so I could heal myself.

Be in a efficient squad with at least 2 medics so you can be revived and that keeps you killing.

Your pistol has great accuracy when fired as fast as you can click, take advantage of that.

Go for the head, 3-4 shots will kill an enemy.

Try for distance shots, these are "free" kills.

Slightly spawn camp with a silenced pistol and do it at a place where you know their spawns. (cheap but it works, and it's not camping it's being pro-active ).

It may take a few rounds but after you get it there is a great sense of pride since the pistol is the weakest gun in the game. It took me 3-4 rounds of 15 and 20 but I finally got mine on a round of 22 and 18 err something like that. Keep at it and you'll get it .

i got my on 32 man medium small size map on karkand anyway just have your pistol out and do headshots thats how i got my

Ive still only got about 300 pistol kills, but after about 50-70 kills, I was comfortable shooting with pistols (except silenced ones, I dont like the aim on those) and could take out guys easily with them. Getting rooftops and pistoling guys below is a fun technique, and it really frustrates people with assault rifles who are shooting at you to die by a pistol at 70-100m away. Get good at shooting from a distance, and get a good spot a small ways away from common choke points, and you should get the kills in no time.

although i hate sniper class - my buddy got his by shooting them once in the chest with the sniper rifle and then plinkin them with a pistola

me? I just ran out of ammo a couple of times and had to use my pistol.
