Any tips to get 18 kills IAR with a Pistol?

I've tried the sniper route, shoot with your main gun then finish them off with a pistol...

I tried going a medic, a burst wtih the G36E and then finish them off.

I tried Support, soften them up with grenades then finish them off with pistol.

Any pointers on getting 18 kills IAR with a Pistol?

Join a full server and just have at it. Pick an armored class. Your ratio will be *** but after enough tries you should manage 18.

got mine on warlord with 24-30 players found it alot harder than getting 18 knife kills

Try and hang around an enemy spawn, but make sure that you do not cap that flag. I would recommend the silenced pistol, as they cannot hear it so it will not draw too much attention.

It's extremely easy to do this! Just play as normal and use your pistol a lot. Don't run into masses of people/enemy, play smart.

You can take your enemy out really quick, I've been up against guys with G3 and other powerful guns and me with a pistol and I killed them. 2 shots in the head or just keep shooting at them (body) - thing is, play smart - do not run into a crowed of enemies expecting to kill them all.

Ya, dont rambo or anything. Play smart. The pistol i deadly accurate so use that to your advantage. I got my basic and the one after all in one round. AT gun sucks, used the pistol instead.

It's not really hard: play closecombat maps like warlord and ghosttown...

I would play close quarters maps, and sneak up behind the person and aim for the head. Thats how I got my basic pistol and it still seems to work.

Try to figure out the exact way how to aim with the handguns as they are all different. I used a red dot drawing program to get the center of my screen, and applying that center, I got amazing accuracy with handguns. The difference between them is amazing, knowing the exact way how to aim with pistols makes a difference.

Be sniper. Run around close quarters and snipe only with pistols. Whenever my sniper rifle misses somebody at like 50 feet range, i pull out my pistol and cap him with it instead. Quite sad.

The pistol is awesome. Just use it exclusively in a large server and you should have no prob

most simple is to go to a "knifes and pistols server only", but i dont recomendet this.

18 kills with any gun is hard to come by in a short round of karkand, but when i was trying to get my basic pistol badge, i just stood a lil behind a teammate and if lucky, i would get a few kills with his help

Thats the trick. Dont use it in the servers. Try to get a good clue how to aim with weapons you dont exactly know how to use, using the red dot drawer in SP or LAN, remember it, or even mark it, and youre set. This isnt sin, because if youd see how far the MECs pistol from center is, for example, youd be amused, to say the least. That being said, PB hasnt detected me using red dot drawer in BF2, althought I have used it. It helps me a lot because I cant seem to focus enough on the crosshair without something bright and shiny keeping my eyes on the center.

EDIT: However, I know PBMBL has an issue with it, so I would recommend staying away from using it in intraweb play.
