I have noticed more one shot deaths this week than many other weeks.

It is sad that people, and clans want to ruin a decent game with hacking.

Will they not learn that it ruined CS. Or are they to stupid to realize this.

We need a thread to dicredit the cheaters for what they are.


At least in CS you could watch and see them cheat. It appears PB is just another joke program the tards work around.

What truely amaze's me is they are to stupid to dial away from head shots.

I'm thankful that cheating is so small in BF2 - they are rare enough that they never actually ruin the fun factor

While I would not agree with some of the language in the OP's post. There is certainly something going on lately. Even in the Beta 1.4 v2 servers. I have been killed by long distance with one hit kills from full heath by AT SMG's more times then is possible. This is not just a fluke.

These people that use these hacks are no different then those that stuff a sock in their pants to make their thing appear bigger.

These people are just lame. Why is this even fun? Learn to shoot and play for real and you will find some enjoyment in the game.

Even if there are hackers (which I believe there are, it's the ammount that is be debated), I just don't see them affecting my BF2 expereince all that much.

I like the larger maps, I personally don't like the big time infantry engagments, and try and play a more strategic game. Often going as SL for long periods with some regulars I've hooked up with (guys my age).

Being able to headshot someone doesn't tip the scales in a game like BF2, where the objectives are so varied, and the path to a win comes in so many flavors.

Actually, it does tip the scales quite a bit when it comes to capping flags. When you roll up to a flag with a squad of 5 guys, and a P-90 takes all of you out in 10 seconds from up on a crane, that's just lame.

Hahahah you stood and stared at him for 10 seconds; it took me like 2 seconds to turn around and fire at him. More to the point; yes there have been a lot more 1 kill shots lately. Littlebird pilots know this also.

CS(counter strike) was a a little more easy to spot hackers because of the close confined areas; but in BF2 the geography is huge and EA doesn't seem willing to do permanent/temporary bans on accounts. Maybe server admins will balls up and take order around here.

It is just too bad the creators of these hack/cheats pander to the rude little kids who abuse them and just cannot understand what they are doing is (morally?) wrong. I would put these guys up there with the tweakin roid users of sports/UFC/etc who don't give the natural guys a chance in front of the crowd. Poor comparison but they are just weak minded guys in real life.

Actually, PB works real well when the server admin knows how to use it. You can have PB check for certain files that shouldn't be in your game directory and have it take screenshots of each players game. There is also a Master Ban List system over at PunksBusted.com. If you're a server admin, you should check that site out and get your server streaming.

I hardly ever run into hacks in this game, even aimbots can't do much with eating a 5000lb bomb. And don't imply that clans partake in this without having specific information, clans, on the otherhand, police their own and keep out hackers...

Yeah dont bring clans into this. And really, The only times i think people hack is when they get some crazy headshot, and its not like that happens every day and i can usually attribute it to luck/uav

You have to bring clans in because its like saying only people not in clans hack. Saw plenty of clanners in GR that hacked and some clans fought like rabid dogs to disprove evidence that was all to clear (there were some nice tools to observe people hacking in GR). That being said, not all clans or non clanners hack.

The reason hacking hasn't become as prolific is because these hackers are making a buck and charging for their hacks. See if the hacks were free then alot more people would get them (ala CS), but then PB would know about them pretty quickly and bust them.

I wonder if EA/DICE could sue these hackers under the Digital Millenium Act?

Did you get shot up with the RPK to many times?

Most hackers lurk around unranked non PB servers, and the usual server hopper dosn't want to risk the Global Hardware ban. If someone in our server complains of a hacker, I will find him, kill him, and prove they are not a hacker, they just got lucky and killed the cry-baby.

Before you cry hack find out:

• What is your ping?
• What is his/her ping?
• What gun did you get shot with?
• CHECK what gun he/she killed you with.
• Look at the UAV just incase he was right behind you.

In all my time playing bf2 (over 1000 hours) ive never come across a hacker or even suspected anyone of hacking, i think people just come and cry when they die too much tbh.

You cannot group clans in general with the hackers. It a ridiculous statement and a stereotype that doesn't need to be started. :thatsbad:

I'm not saying that there aren't clans that hack OR that there aren't people who happen to be in a clan that hack.

I guarantee you there are more Clan out there that are against hacking and police their own people and the servers they run to weed out the hackers.
