TK for vehicle

i was playing sharqi this weekend with a friend.....as MEC, we got the heli, and where right then blown up by this one teamate who dont like to share....killing both of us.....

my friend decides to get revenge TK on him.....so he c4s the heli, getting his revenge, plus another random teamkill.....

ok now the original teamkiller wants revenge, as does the random teamkilled guy...so now its all out TK fest as soon as they respawn.....and i gotta fight if i want to escape in the heli, and it was soooo fun.....lol

that experience changed how i view teamkilling......for now on, i will ALWAYS get a revenge TK upon being ITKed, and i will TK if being engaged by a friendly no questions asked.....i will however not be a douche about the whole thing, and take out a whole squad and our commander to get the TK, just my mark......thats how things escalate to the scenerio above.....which i see quite a bit and it amuses me....

anything similar happen to anyone?

please give me your thoughts/criticism/flames/etc.....

Yeah, TKing is perfectly fine in the instances you mentioned. But it still doesn't solve anything exepct for the slight satisfaction that you got revenge, yet the guy is just going to respawn and try to kill you again.

i think thats fine too, i dont mind defensive TKs either, i dont really have any problems making up the points as a pilot in the attack heli......

its just the whole rush of a mini-civil war going on in that spawn point, and it was fun constantly being engaged in combat (like being baseraped), and i have a feeling both parties were enjoying the skirmish....

TKs wouldnt be bad if the victim had the opportunity to fight back, and didnt result in point deduction.....something excites me about the idea of having to combat for the right use a vehicle.....

keep in mind i will never teamkill anyone ever for any reason other than revenge for an ITK, or as defense against an ITK attempt

i feel i might need this disclaimer later on :laugh:

i thibk its funny when ima sniper at a a airfield and like 5 guys are waiting for jet so i shoot a round right next to them and of course they thibkits the other guy so they all ubnload on each other LMFAO.

i gotta get a screeni fo it.make sure u dont shoot them though just pick up dust like inches away or go for a body shot just make sure u dont kill them as ittl sho w that u killed them.

I think he was suggesting if you are the enemy and you watch the other team TK eachother. Either way, it is a good move.

If i get intionally teamkilled i just love blocking their plane if they TKed for a plane... otherwise I ram a jeep into their tank if it was for that, or just run them over with a jeep if they're on foot. but there's a trick, you bail out before hitting them and they fly forwards dead. You can revive them, rinse repeat.

yes i do it so i can steal a jet or elo as the 15 seconds resapwn time gives me time to go setal it usually.or leave a "present"

TKing, whether to get a vehicle or to get revenge, is a selfish and inappropriate thing to do. It wastes time and reduce the overall team-effectiveness, since everyone engaged in it is useless and often waste valuable assets in their childish need for some sort of gratification.

Imagine if the same kind of petulant stupidity took place in the real world? Approximately 10% of all casualties are blue-on-blue (or by "friendly fire" - oxymoronic term really) and if everyone dealt with it the "Don Corleone" way, the insurgents could just sit back and wait the the entire Coalition force to kill itself.

Then again it's a game, and games attract children along with the rest of us.

I suspect that this is part of why the real community of FPS players really aren't that much into BF2 - Desert Combat has a much more mature crowd of players.
