when i see a familiar pilot, who lost the former E battle, and now he is a sniper with m95 i kill him on sight. no questions asked, no remorse - just die and stay there. being sniped out of the plane is one of the most humiliating moments in this game. and i simply avoid that.

same goes for players that attemted to ram me in the past - when i see that idiot, i pretend to wait for a jet in the WRONG hangar, and then, knowing the right time to spawn a jet i run for the good hangar. in most cases they are fooled by this and cant ram me on time. i dont tk them however.. only snipers.. my lamest..

TKing, whether to get a vehicle or to get revenge, is a selfish and inappropriate thing to do. It wastes time and reduce the overall team-effectiveness, since everyone engaged in it is useless and often waste valuable assets in their chidish need for some sort of gratification.

Imagine if the same kind of petulant stupidity took place in the real world? Approximately 10% of all casualties are blue-on-blue (or by "friendly fire" - oxymoronic term really) and if everyone dealt with it the "Don Corleone" way, the insurgents could just sit back and wait the the entire Coalition force to kill itself.

Then again it's a game, and games attract children along with the rest of us.

Your point? I think you could liken these actions to a population that just got tired of getting pushed around and finally started to push back. You seem to think that people that do this sort of thing have been doing it for a long, long time. Maybe consider that they are normally good team players, with healthy additudes. But after enough "children" impede their gameplay, a little spanking needs to be on the menu.

Honestly, I sometimes wonder what is worse, the guy that TKs a teammate for a Helo, or the 5 guys that spend the round at the pad waiting for the pilot to die. If Darwinism is still working on human evolution, we are just cleaning out the trouble makers in society

All the stats show is how many teamwork POINTS you have. It doesn't show how you play. Teamwork is more than those points and awards you get. It's moving your tank in between an enemy and friendly, so they can get out and repair while you deal with the enemy. Letting your team keep both tanks working, instead of 1 or both dieing.

Or using a tank to guard your troops moving into a flag. You won't get points for the flag or for damaging them, but you helped your team.

Or sporring out enemy troops, talking to your team on TS, taking a claymore, or driving over a mine (only in light vehicles) to help your team advance.

The stats don't show a damn thing about how you play. All the "ranking" system is is how many points someone has, it doesn't use a formula to determine a skill rating, just shows how many points someone has.

If you want to see if someone is good or not, play with them. Get to know how they play, stats won't show you anything.

i was playing sharqi this weekend with a friend.....as MEC, we got the heli, and where right then blown up by this one teamate who dont like to share....killing both of us.....

my friend decides to get revenge TK on him.....so he c4s the heli, getting his revenge, plus another random teamkill.....

ok now the original teamkiller wants revenge, as does the random teamkilled guy...so now its all out TK fest as soon as they respawn.....and i gotta fight if i want to escape in the heli, and it was soooo fun.....lol

that experience changed how i view teamkilling......for now on, i will ALWAYS get a revenge TK upon being ITKed, and i will TK if being engaged by a friendly no questions asked.....i will however not be a douche about the whole thing, and take out a whole squad and our commander to get the TK, just my mark......thats how things escalate to the scenerio above.....which i see quite a bit and it amuses me....

anything similar happen to anyone?

Yea I always get revenge if someone does it first. I never TK anyone for no reason. But if they start that **** on me, they're gonna get it good.

Wouldn't a better revenge be to cause them to tk you repeatedly? Won't the offender get kicked if he tk's 3 or more times?

yeah, just recently I got artied in a a blackhawk on the carrier by my own commander. I asked him for one reason not to blow him away. BOOM! I guess he couldnt think of anything. He said some stuff about get off the carrier or I will use force.

Also, not all of the time, but sometimes I will kill someone for driving off in a jeep without me. I hate walking wake.

I was getting really fustrated the other day as more score kept descending into minus figures ... due to people standing infront of jet, or under heli if i land, or driving jeep into jet as I take off ... lol - but you've just got to laugh at the end of the day ...

There also seems to be few people who actually forgive for accidental team kills. Such as someone running infront of my gun while i'm shooting or squashing someone who ran infront of a tank, not looking before crossing the road ...

I always tend to forgive unless it was done intentionally ...

What is fun is spawning as Spec Ops, running over to the airfield or heli pad where all the dipwads are having their E-battles and TK wars, plop C4 around the area and then drive off leaving them wondering when it is going to go off. Sad part is I can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

NO. No one ever TK for vehicles at the server where I spent my quality time playing. I am a totally noob at team killing. :laugh:

I will revenge TK. Although my most recent intentional TK was against a commander who would not drop supplies even though I called for them repeatedly both with the squad leader rose and through the chat. After 10 minutes of no supplies on the roof of the palace on Warlord, I went and hunted him down.
