    Re: Worth buying?

I play SF more than BF2 now and love it... I'd get it for sure for that price; even if for a change of pace to BF2 maps. It's a great game with a slightly different infantry tactic you'll like if your not a jet jockey.

It may also improve your Close Quarters combat skills for BF2 since it's more infantry based. I know it has helped me.

The only issue I have is I miss the goodies when I go back to BF2...

I end up looking for a gas grenade launcher, flashbang or a grappling hook that I don't have in BF2!

It is worth buying. The only downside is that there will probably not be anymore Special Forces maps for ranked servers.

I played SF almost all the time since it came out, it's a great expansion, definitely prefer it over vanilla. I go back there now and then for a change of pace, but SF rules!

It's worth it for sure. Even if you don't like the maps or something you can still use the SF unlocks in vanilla. Warlord is the best map in the game imo.

I bought the deluxe edition of BF2 and BF2 SF and I play BF2 a hell of a lot more. I just don't like the dark maps. Having said that I don't like it being focused on infantry, i'd rather play CSS for that. IMO, there's a lot more action with BF2.

Can't remember the last time I played vanilla. Did you get it yet? See you on the battlefield.

    I can't say that is 100% accurate.

It is definetly worth it though. It has its place and time.

Very true. The people are often better in SF, and they will bring your level up.
