SF is loads of fun. Surge and Mass Destruction > all!

SF ****in rocks. Its almost PURE infantry and the armor cant rape. The helis are also not that strong on the maps their on. Plenty of people play it and it has good servers you also get alot of kills easy on some of the maps. Night maps kick ***.

Absolutely - I prefer this to vanilla BF2 now and unless you love planes you are not missing anything.

As has been pointed out, the only downside is fewer servers to choose from There were 98 available last night when I played, 1/3 with decent pings in the states, so it's a minor downside.

Great upsides though. Two unlocks per/rank in vanilla BF2, along with access to tier 2 unlocks. (You can only use the normal unlocks in SF, before you ask.) The night fighting maps take a little getting used to, but are a lot of fun once you bind your nightvision to some key other then 7. Warlord and Ghost Town are the two most popular maps, which you'll love if you're a Karkand, Sharqui, Mashtur bum.

And the biggest bonus point of all... NO JETS! :)

Nope, you cannot kill peeps with the hook or the Zip, which is annoying!

Lol, my avatar has nothing to do with my playing style. I like teh fugly fighter.
Also, what are some unique ways of killing/sabotaging people in this? Sticking them in the face with a grappling hook?

There used to be many servers running SF. Now there are just a few.

But, SF is an excellent infrantry combat version of BF2. You should get it.

Most definitely. SF is a lot of fun. I would recommend it now that you can get it less than $20.

    Worth buying?

Is this worth getting? I'm thinking of it for my birthday.
