Well that may be true but these replys could help someone, and its nice to know what people prefer Accuracy or being able to turn around fast enough to kill someone

3.5 for me. My friend plays on 8.4 though. When I play over there its ****ing insane. I can barely aim.

The only reason why good players have lower sensitivity is so that they can stay on their target. If you like to play with higher sensitvity, that's fine, but your probably more likely to miss.

For me personally, I play with 1.1 sometimes .9 sens.

Default in-game, mx518 @ 1600 dpi with medium mouse acceleration enabled.

It’s pretty damn fast, I can 180 by moving about 1/4 of an inch.

But everyone is different, I came from years of playing games like quake 2, quake 3, painkiller and the likes, so a high mouse sensitivity feels normal to me.

One thing though... as a dreaded "bunny hopper" I tend chuckle to myself when I jump over someone who flops prone and that super low sensitivity cripples their ability to track anything that is not directly in front of them.

On topic, I left my wireless mouse on its default yet I do find it to be a bit sensitivio. I might tinker around with it later today.

All my sensitivity settings are set to the highest in every game I play. It's not at all a matter of one way being better than another, it's just preference. I do a lot of twitch movements (ie turn immediately around when spawning to kill those pesky campers) these things are harder with low sensitivity. Also if you're short on table space low sense can = death.


For me I don't lose any real accuracy, if anything it gives me a greater abillity to aim at the target.
