    Mouse sensitivity for infantry

I was just wondering what people on this forum use for their infantry sensitivity, I use a razer diamondback mouse with 4 sens for my infantry(my bf2 setting is 1 sens, 4 sens is just what my mouse is set at)

I'm always changing my sensitivity on the fly depending on the situation so I can't really give you a value other than; 'anywhere between 400 and 1600 dpi depending on the situation.'

LOL. wonder where you got this observation.

Anyways, I use very high sensitivity. I also have diamondback. I usually dont change the sensitivity on the fly. But I do make use of all the buttons...

*Did you know you can program macros into your diamondback.

0.7 for infa, about 3.5 for heli and ground vehicles

                which makes this

SWAT4, I have high sensitivity in order to combat people in CQB, CQC.

BF2, same, low sensitivity for sniping though.

                  High sens= close quarters
                  Low sens= long range engagements
No sense= idiots who think their sensitivity makes them pros

hehe, nice one mate; now try this: set ur infa sens to 0.6 and go play a round; then change it to 4.0 and go play a round. now tell me mate, does it make a difference ?

its just a preferance ppl choose, not smth that makes you pro. but it does help you, if you choose preferance according to your likening.

I usually turn the sensitivity down when playing C4mp0rsnip0r and needing long shot aim, then back up again when im moving about.

I see my brother play with very low sensitivity in CS1.6. Something close to 1.6-2. He drags the mouse all over the table. What you dont know about me is that I have some hand-eye coordination excercises (for SWAT4), which help me to cope with the ultra-high sensitivity. Basically, I can turn around and stop my gun at EXACTLY someones head and make a headshot, even if I just hear someone firing behind me and I dont know his exact location. I just turn around and my hand stops at his head, which has brought me a lot of hacker accusations aswell. This is all done by very high sensitivity.

In Battlefield 2, distances of engagements varies. But once youre battling in the flag area, mobility is the key. I know many, if not most people like to crouch and open fire, like in CS style, or prone and open fire. I outrun and outmaneuver most of these guys and headshot them. Now, Im not good at infantry, I only have a ~1:1 KDR, but thats because I cant kill anyone at longer range. At close, Im a devil.

Point is, first it depends on the engagement, second, it depends on your style. Lower sensitivity corrects for "aiming error", jump off the target. However, you can achieve perfection with high sensivity aswell.

In BF2, I play with 1.5 sensitivity, my sensitivity is always set so I can make one full turn in the space of my mousepad.

Nice one, I just couldnt get that level of accuracy in bf, no matter what sensitivity, back in the days when i played UT, that was exactly my style of play too, but in bf, soldier moves way to slow, to make any special maneuvers around other guy. thats why i keep my sens low, so i can easier get a headshot. even on close range.

like i said, according to your likening (if thats spelled correctly even )
