I don't think i'll have any probs running...

But wait - what does SF adds except for the weps? New maps too? Does it take more sys resources than the original BF2?
Just to make sure if it'll run it smoothly on pretty high and 1280:

yes you will get alot of new maps, including night ones which can be very good fun imo, although i get very little populated SF compared with vanilla. and lets just say Sf wont run as smoothly as Vanilla BF2

Will i be able to play with the vanilla BF2 maps? Or the SF counts as a different game?
And why not to buy one of the other ex packs? What's so special in SF?

BTW, here in Israel it costs 150NIS = 30.81$ I still have the money tho...
I just soled my useless PS2 for 80$ ~ :yay: (I just love the :yay: smile :yay: )

i play SF about 60/40 compared to vanilla, its all in finding a good server, i play on tomclancygameservers.com a lot and as long as you dont piss off the admins its usually ok, i dont mean letting them have ur vehicle or not killing them if theyre on the enemy team, i mean not being a smacktard.

You will still have vanilla bf2, you will have a seperate shortcut for vanilla and special forces. so you can't get to special forces maps from vanilla and vice versa.

compared to vanilla bf2, regular, no expansion pack
60% sf, 40% vanilla bf2

Hey, i've got an idea,
If I know someone offeres me to play with my acc a single round, I can ask for his acc info, and login, so he won't be able to login to his, i'll change his pass, and Alt+Tab, send him a message with my acc info, he'll play, after a round he'll send me a message that all is done, i'll login to mine and see if everything is ok, than change to his pass back so he can relogin.
If he tricked me (ran away with my acc info / the weps do not exist), i'll have his acc with a pass i created, so he's stuck too.

What do u say about that? I think it'll work :)

It's like a separate game really but you can use SF guns in vanilla BF2. Not the other way around though. Each SF gun is specific to team you play. Like regular guns in vanilla BF2. You can't use US shotty if you're MEC. Same idea here.

Like I said, out of all 3 (or is it 4?) expansions this one is the only one worth money for me since it gives you something extra for vanilla BF2 which I play 95% of times. It's hard to find decent populated servers running expansions.

Right. Thanks for the advices, 27 replies in 1 hour and a half. I think I never reached that amount of replies in anytime, lol :lol: .
I don't feel right buying it cuz EA and Dice does such a lame work, the game is full of bugs, not to mention that problems, and the tech problems with the AMD X2 proc. But, the game is STILL one of the great ones these days. 30$ wasted on gametime, ruining my eyes and relationship with friends and ppl generally :p

Hem lol, give your info to someone, what risk do you have ? you gonna lost a 5Hours account ? Lol, if you were like at 10k or 20k points OK don't give that to anyone but for like 2000 points... I think u can take the risk... But it's all up to you
