I will wait for the reviews to hit. If the game scores above 8.5 I will consider it. If it gets above a 9.0 Im buying it. Simple as that.

By the way, I REALLY DISLIKE EA, but hey.... what can I do? Dont say petition the game, because well, I am firm believer that one person doesnt make a difference.

So im going to buy if it it scores well. I want to play it.

I REALLY HOPE that Quakewars Owns battlefield XXXX. Since, I like ID Software a whole lot.

I'm certainly not going to buy it based on what has happened to BF2.I don't expect EA/Dice to be any better supporting it as well as there being a better class of people playing it than there are playing BF2.The same 14 year old smacktards will be playing BF2142 so why invite more headaches and frustration into my life?I'll just go back to playing AA if BF2 dies.At least AA knows how to deal with smacktards and wingnuts.In fact,I know there are a lot of these vermin playing BF2 because they can no longer play AA.I'll throw my money and support at a game developer that knows what it's doing and what side of the bread it's butter is on.

I re-installed AA last night and had a few rounds, it was really refreshing to see what happens to someone trying to rambo their way through

I will try the beta or demo first. I do like the larger amount of unlocks/customization of its weapons but bf2142 still feels like a mod to me.

If they dont fix the stability issues, and bugs (not gameplay issues) i wont buy ANY EA or DICE procuct.

Despite all those problems, BF2 still is really fun and addicting. So, yes, I'm buying BF2142 unless it gets just plain horrific reviews of doom. Even if it's about the same as BF2, I don't think I would mind.

And besides, people will still buy BF2142. By the looks of it, most people who posted in this thread are planning to play it. These lame petitions are never going to work anyways... You can't just persuade everyone boycott something just because you don't like it. You're not in the magical land over the rainbow, silly.
