Could 1.4 official be out later today?

Well I was thinking and wishing that 1.4 patch would be out later today. Since today is a friday and ea normally releases stuff on fridays, plus 1.4 beta2 came out last friday and 1.4 beta1 came out the friday before that. I was thinking the official 1.4 would be out today.

I really don't think so.

The v1.4 servers are still all up.

In fact, there is a DICE endorsed v1.4 beta event that is lasting until Sunday.

I just cant be bothered to download the beta and then uninstall it so im waiting (impatiently) for the propa patch to arrive. Cant wait to see the new map :) Hurry up guys!

It's incredibly laggy atm...j10 is still craze...PKM holds firing AFTER getting up from prone rather than when dropping to prone...jalalalalalabad is nothing new...blah blah blah.

Don't be lazy! Make a copy of your 1.3 BF2 directory and then install 1.4 beta 2.
Is worth it!
And when the official patch comes out, simply restore BF2 1.3 directory and you are ready to go.

A guy in my clan was on the phone to someone who works at DICE, and he said the patch should be released in about 2 weeks time.

I would almost bet money that it won't get released untill middle or end of August ! Still many bugs to get fixed.

If they hurry then everyone will get all whiney and say "Why did they release this junk"; if they take their time people say "OH Noes!!!11 They aren't supporting this anymore". There is NO pleasing the BF2 community. WOrse than a soap opera.
