A good player will make any gun work to his advantage. Some guns just make this easier than others. I'm not a big fan of the base AT guns, but I've taken out a few people in succession before reloading using them. I've also managed to take out a 4 person squad as a single AT using the DAO (used knife once and the rocket once as well though) and yes, they knew I was coming.

In short, they all cause damage. They will all score a frag. Just use them to your advantage. Don't charge head on at an enemy with an Mp5, flank him. Save those aggressive maneuvers for G3s, DAO-12s and PKMs

I'd have to say it's a tie between the PLA (Type 85) and USMC (MP-5) AT submachineguns. At least the MEC AT SMG has a 45 round clip.

Exactly. Although if I had to pick one to use it would be the Chinese one, I dunno it is slightly better than the MP5.

I don't have any problems with any of the guns... the mp5 kicks *** I don't know what anyone is talking about. There have been numerous times when I've ran out of ammo and picked up a kit to find a mp5 and end up killing LOTS of people. I never scope with ANY weapon unless its the sniper rifle... or a realllllly far shot.

S12K doesn't suck at all. It fires as fast as you squeeze the trigger, so you can get 7 shoot in 1 second as long as you want. If you don't get the kill b4 empty the clip, then blame your shooting skill but not the gun. Needless to tell, since it's a shotty, you have to avoid engaging anyone over 15 yards away.

S12K is just a baby JackHammer IMO.

Agreed, I have laid out so many Spec-Ops trying to lay C4 on me with the S12k. I dont even get the Jackhammer because of its ferocity. It is like a pistol that shots slugs. If you have a good pistol tap, you can be wicked with the S12k.

The Type 85 and MP5 are identical as far as damage and accuracy goes. The only advantage the Type 85 has is the 0.9 second faster reload time (could be useful I guess) but the Mp5 draws half a second faster. So when your rocket misses that guy right in front of you, you'll have that Mp5 ready to fire just a hair quicker. Again, these slight differences only come into play with reflexes and lag.

But if it comes to a quick draw in an alley, the guy with the AK or PKM is going to win, more damage downrange faster.

Thats why when I use the 9mm subs on these kits, I attack those that don't see me first. Shoot em in the back, aim for the head. Sometimes using the pistol by itself does better!

No way I can own with that gun. Maybe its just me but sometimes i do better with that than the rpk. I took out 4 guys in Karkand with it and they all saw me and were firing. I just believe the SAW is underestimated. Anyways the chinese AT gun is pretty bad so I guess i say that.

The SAW is great for CQC things like Karkand, Sharqi, Mashtuur, etc. The high ROF and good accuracy at close range can fill the guy with bullets before he sees you.

Wow, two people hating on shotguns. Try the Benelli M4 (EF). That is a sweet shottie. I guess it takes a special kind of person to use them, because the M11-87 will fux some people up when in the right hands.

Thing about shotguns, you need to get the drop on someone. If you are first to draw, with any Engineer weapon, you will most likely clean house.

I think the most usless weapons is the smokegrenade. If you had two or three of them, it would be useful...even if they were colored they would be useful.

Yeah, getting 40 something kills and less than 10 deaths in karkand with the USMC shotty. I was higher than the tank whoring maggot on that round, but he got best engy because he was that class the entire time being in the armor

But yah, don't be hatin the shotguns. They only suck to you because you don't know how to play with them. You have to be the right mindset to use the shotguns, like someone said earlier about snipers, they don't run right at a target, though that isnt the case with shotties but you get my point?

Shotguns have a certian playstyle to them that you must adhere by or die.

What are you talking about have you even tried firing the guns out the chinese or mec choppers. I get more kills in a blackhawk than the other 2. You get the splash damage to you advantage.
