Type-85 would probably be the worst. Interestingly enough, the BFHQ description of it says it's full auto/semi auto, yet where exactly is the semi-auto in-game? Close runner-up for me would be the Saiga, simply because it takes about 4 shots to get a kill with it and by then you have to reload a new clip or you won't have enough left for another kill. Pump shotties > semi-shotties, although the DAO is good because it's got 12 rounds.

And no, the snipers are FAR from the worst weapons. Close up, sure, but who the hell goes looking for close encounters when they're sniper, except for claymore tossers? o_O I've actually been playing Sniper a lot more lately, not only because I want to get my hours up with the kit, but also because it's nice to have a gun (specifically L96, but M24 when I'm US) where I can watch someone insta-prone on me 100m away and be able to line up the crosshairs on his head and, get this, actually hit what I'm aiming at! That alone makes the snipers unique among the guns in BF2.

shotguns. I absolutely hate shotguns unless I'm standing next to the guy I'm shooting at.

shotguns are a class weapon yeah you have to be in close proximity but you have a pistol for other ranges

Generally speaking - ARs use rifle-calibre ammunition and have a long barrel. Carbines usually use the same calibre ammunition as an AR but have a shorter barrel and are, therefore, lighter weight and easier to carry, but less accurate overall. Submachine guns are basically full-auto pistols because they usually use pistol calibre ammo (the German MP desgination, such as MP40, stands for Maschinen Pistole, or machine pistol, I believe).

At least the MEC AT SMG has a 45 round clip.

noobtube. it bounces.. incomming vodnik, shot, bounce, you've been killed by driver..

other than that.. i hate m16 burst mode, i realy dont like g3 low mag capacity/count [and horrrrrid recoil], i dont like pistols, as being stronger [no lateral recoil] than smgs is a bit weird

i like shotguns, pancor is quite nice, pumps are powerfull, and saiga just needs good operator. out of all shotguns i prefer saiga [and m4 benneli]

i loved 1.2 mp7, it was powerfull, now it is still cool, but it was certainly better before, now it is probably the worst gun in the game [surprise - it is engys gun]

smgs are the weakest, as it should be, but hey, ATs have their big tuuube

Back in the days before i had unlocks and the MP5 was only granted 2 clips, the MEC AT rifle was the sole reason i ever played that class.

I used to hate shotguns but after having to get my 15 hours as engineer like everyone else i developed a bit of a liking for the old benelli.

Wow, two people hating on shotguns. Try the Benelli M4 (EF). That is a sweet shottie. I guess it takes a special kind of person to use them, because the M11-87 will fux some people up when in the right hands.

Thing about shotguns, you need to get the drop on someone. If you are first to draw, with any Engineer weapon, you will most likely clean house.

I think the most usless weapons is the smokegrenade. If you had two or three of them, it would be useful...even if they were colored they would be useful.

Chinese AT gun is good to me. MP5 sucks ***, so does the SK12.

Tie between the S12K and the Type 85. Scratch that. Type 85 is by far the most pathetic weapon in the game. I'm more scared of a medpack than a Type 85.

S12K doesn't suck at all. It fires as fast as you squeeze the trigger, so you can get 7 shoot in 1 second as long as you want. If you don't get the kill b4 empty the clip, then blame your shooting skill but not the gun. Needless to tell, since it's a shotty, you have to avoid engaging anyone over 15 yards away.

S12K is just a baby JackHammer IMO.
