i was looking forward to unlocking it as i heard it was accurate and i like playing medic but as soon as i got it i was disappointed.. not really sure why.. just doesnt feel very accurate.. im not keen on the sight really.

I think you'll find it isn't, burst or single shot is the only 2 fire options you have for the SF medic unlock. check http://wiki.bf2s.com/weapons/unlocks/g36e or go into SF and keep your finger on the fire button and see what happens

Yup... G36E is single-shot or three-round burst only in the game, whatever variant of BF2 you're on (vanilla BF2, SF, whatever). As has been said though, Terror, there are several other G36 family weapons in the game that you might be confusing, such as the G36C, the G36K or even the MG36. Those all have full-auto fire modes, but the G36E does not.

The ful-auto one in SF is the G36K, which is not included in the unlocks of BF2.
G36K is a short-barreled G36 rifle. G36E is the export variant of original G36, G36C is a carbine,which is farther shorter than the G36K, if I'm not wrong.

SAW?? It hits everything except the target.

So does the PKM on full auto, if you use it like the PKM, 2-3 shot bursts it seems to have improved. Then again might be just because the last time i used was about 11k points ago:)

It varies by map, really. For Wake, I find that the G36C for medic is extremely powerful, but I rape with the PKM on Karkland.

You are as far as I'm concerned. I genuinely hate that gun. It's just too inconsistant to be useful, even on single shot. Some people swear by it, though.

I've only just started using it with Medic, after being a G3 assault man for some months now. Have to say I was pleasantly suprised.
