it took me ages to work this one out and only did it by accident. i watched an enemy pik up his grappling hook before killing him (of course) and couldnt understand how he did it. did it by accident 2 days later.....

I'm not sure about the zipline, but I was killed by a grappling hook, and someone else replied that they have killed someone with the zipline. Just read this thread.

lol you can actually "tarzan" through maps. Usually I use them once or twice. But today when playing warlord I and my squad were falling back from the palace because we were getting nade spammed and blown up by clays as soon as we spawned. We first capped TV, went to the top, the sniper in the squad put a line out the main roof of the hideout behind the flag, zipped down to the smaller roof capped it from there, then we got back up to the main roof, zipped to the buildings across from mosque, zipped to the smaller tower overlooking mosque, then to mosque roof.

awesome :p im a huge fan of zips and grapples its a shame you cant choose whether to have a zip or grappple instead of getting one automatically when you spawn

That would be lovely :p .. We could (Maj0r M3dic G33ks aka me) Could use a grappling hook, zipline is fun, but grappling hook can go higher places :)

i prefer grapple cos you can get to higher places i use it more than the zip i think :p

Most common way to show death by zip or grappling hook is you get claymored or mined when the enemy is on a zip or grapple line.

The way to kill with the zip or grapple is just like the instant kill with a granade. A direct hit is instant death. Also I like to pick up a few pistol kills by killing people when they are on the grapple or zip because they cant shoot back while climbing. This is just like a person climbing a ladder. You can't...I've tried.

I saw an enemy bot on SP, I let loose on my crossbow, and he just sat there. There was a 2-inch thick steal rope going straight through his stomach, and he just sat there.

My friend tried once too...He saw an enemy trying to take a flag he had just taken, my friend oulled out the zipline, and fired. The bot didn't notice, as usual, even though the rope had entered his lower back and come out his groin.

Bots are stupid. :p

whats really cool to do is get a grap hook and go onto the top of the tvstaion and then use the grap to climb to the top of the tv tower things... gota be carefull caz if you fall you will mostlikly die

onece, i was playing a map, and i was sniping from a prone position in the grass. i was out of ammo, and i had just unloaded my last round into some other sinper's head, who was trying to get a map. So, i crawled back into the grass where it was virtually impossible to get me. i fired my ziplile in the direction of the base. as i was going down, i noticed i had accidentally got another guy in the head. he was stuck against a wall, still standing. i wish i could have taken a screenshot, but i dont know how to. but still, it was preety cool.
