I care about having fun. The stats are more so I can see my personal progress, and of course some goodies a.k. unlocks - 6000pts to go
But I find myself playing on unranked servers quiet often too.
It really is mostly secondary to me.
But definately a nice feature to have, and a good way to keep track of past achievements, and how much of my precious free time I'm wasting

I have to say the extra $100 or however much it is I believe is fairly pointless, take a day on the Sirver for example, there so much you can do with server side scripts most BF2 players will never experience what the game actually has to offer.

I just want the L96A1 and P90 so I can finish off my unlocks (Im a little OCD about that lol). Then it is off to PRMM, FH2, AI, USI, Dcon, and a few others.

i used to care for my stat. but since my stat got wiped i dont care anymore...i even make my team lose by artying my own team..lol thats fun

The reasons I play this game:
30% stats
10% frustration
60% fun

Honestly, I'm a K/D freak. If i dont get around 3:1 in a round I feel like i've done badly. I want to be the first on my team, have the best score blah blah blah look at me.

I dont care THAT much about medals, and I dont care at ALL about points. I just like to check my stats and see that my K/D went up by 0.0000001 after playing a good round. It's like a tangible object I can associate my play time with. I feel like i'm progressing as a player because my stats show that I am.

I mean if I totally sucked at the game I dont think i'd care at all, but because i have some pretty respectible stats I like to keep them that way. (even though i'm the only one that checks them :P)

Don't give a sh!t. Worthless, most of the MEC guns rock. Thats the way to go, stat padding or anything about stats just seems retarded. Its a game, your gonna move on to another one anyway. lol

only reason i look up to them, is to get my final unlocks :) And to see how long is there to obtain it

I have fun trying to build up enough various points and hours get all the medals, ribbions, and badges. That is really about it; I don't care about stats so much as I find them entertaining.

I never really cared about my stats only unlocks. It's nice though to look at once in a while to see kdr or accuracy with different weapons but other than that never really cared.
