    Who cares about their stats?

Personally, I couldn't give two s***s about mine anymore, I have gotten tired of them. What about you? I just like to have fun and not worry about my k/d or "oh my god, I need to get 6 more kills now so I can get my Expert Spec Ops!!"

I don't care about their stats. I only care about mine.

Never really bothered about them in the first place. when I first got BF2 I would occasionally look at my stats and think "oh I only need a couple more revives, ill go play medic for a little while" but ive never hogged a kit just to get a badge or medel or unlock.

Now I don't even play BF2, I play PRMM which does use ABR on a lot of its servers but I hardly use it, occasionally ill look at my stats (the numbers) out of curiosity, but that's about it.

I care about my infantry KDR. It sucks, and I want to be a better player.

lol I hear that all the time, let me tell you something. I was playing a battle on satarday in the PRMM tourniment and I had 23 deaths and only 16 kills, does that make my a bad player? NO! of course not because I was a team player, I had around 20 revives and 20+ heals with a total of about 140 points that put me in 11th position, not bad for someone who died twice as much as the killed.

the outcome of the match btw was 400-0 with all flags taken, yay for ASOG.

Yeah, Im usually the squad medic aswell, last in line, first in reviving. But I barely hold my ground in 1 vs 1. And that makes me a bad gunwielder :P . yeah, should have been more specific there.

They're only a side attraction to me now. They used to hold more weight, but once I got SF and got 5 unlocks at once, they lost their appeal. I'll check them out once in awhile, and once a month or every two months I might get an award popup, but that's about it.

I predicted this apathy too. I said, "Once everybody gets all their unlocks and shiny new badges, whatever, what will they do then? Hopefully, concentrate on teamwork and having fun."

Forgot to say I play a lot of Allied Intent now. Much more fun. :)

In the beginning I used to care about my stats, and then I asked myself what for? In two more years, will these stats be of any importance to me when this game becomes history? To me, of course not, so I dont care anymore.

I just play for the fun of it :)

Re: Who cares about their stats?

i enjoy the times when i nab a badge here or there, as with anything it feels good to acheive a benchmark, even if it is as trivial as a videogame award. but on the other hand, i hate when stats get in the way of teamwork. when i jump on servers like fullcontactwar or straferight, join up on a squad, i hope, no PRAY that the squad will be a flag-capping, voip using, teamwork squad, cause that is the most enjoyable one. (not a bunch of un-talking lone wolfs). i like getting badges and unlocks, but the other stuff? pfft, who cares about it. theres enough extreme score-whores out there that you are never gonna make it to #1. plus, being #1 in a videogame....kinda a oxymoron.

Hopefully I don't stray people to off topic but anyone looking for some teamwork should definitely consider joining a tournament, the PRMM tourny is the first one ive ever done and god is it so much fun ive never seen so much teamwork in a game in my life. Does possibly require a little more work for you but definitely worth it.

Project Reality Mini Mod (they really need to remove the mini mod part because its getting to that stage where it just isnt mini any more)

I like to keep track of how I am doing and what I can improve on, and it is pretty cool to have. But I play BF2 for fun, sometimes competitive.

I dont really care about em, I just want more points so I can get that support gun(It's called PK-M or something) once I get it I could care less about stats.
