Try searching the forums when you are new to anything. There are numerous commanders tip threads. Also cartillery is totally lame, and ea/dice should finda a way to nerf it completely (not just on buildings).

I would think that if you use Cartillery as a weapon instead of supplying troops then that would fall under the uncap rules as far as prolonged attacks in uncaps..

i know, i really didnt know that killing by trowing cars is well technically stupid , im gonna stop that, i just started to do it because once a commader was raping me with everytime i sniped so i tough it was a good idea, oh well now i know better, THX

Urgh so today i was owning being commander in wake island , and well i was dropping cars on anoying snipers that were holding my team, now when the admin showed up, he quickly banned me and the reason was "cartillery", i was so mad, anyways is that a new rule on servers now?

warup was that u in the karkand server..i was sniping from the hill on the left spawn point for usmc and i got a car dropped on me 2 times and the guy was like HAHAH DAMN IM GOOD.

If your gaphics are up all the way its easier to spot. Ive been on rooftops before and just watch the shadows of the cars falling and move slowly out the way then hop on the 50 and thank enemy commander. lol

Cartillery is not specifically against ROE; however, its not limited by ROE and thus Server Admins can make a rule.

Until the ambiguity is resolved by ROE, server admins can do this. However, I believe they won't change ROE til after 1.40 so maybe next month.

Actually car drops are considered "supplies" and in the ROE there can be no restrictions on where and when to drop supplies. I hate cartillary, I myself play a sniper to relax after a hard day at work and while I wish snipers couldn't be spotted in the first place, cartillary takes my irritation level to a whole new high. On hind thought, when 1.3 came out I was one of the first ppl using 'em as weapons, guess this is what they call karma :p

GOLDEN RULE: The rules are whatever the 13 year old admin want them to be at that time... does not matter how you play! TK? Kick! Fly a jet? Kick! Kill the enemy? Banned! Reload your gun? Kick! Go prone? Banned! Get the idea?

People rarely even ask for vehicle drops. I get maybe an average of 2 requests a round when I'm commander. The rest I drop on people. Until they fix it we may as well have fun with it.

it also reloads so fast that theres always a new drop ready within a few seconds anyway.
might aswell make use of it instead of leaving it there til someone decides they want a jihad jeep for their c4 !!
they also blow up if not used for a minute not like the normal spawn vehicles that are there for ever

And how many 13 year olds do you know who have a few hundred £ or $ sitting around they use to pay for said server?

Most server admins are over the age of 18/20 id say, and a significant percentage probably older than that.
