The latest Battlefield newsletter is up, offering a new set of screenshots from Battlefield 2142 along with a release month for the game: October. According to the newsletter, there will be information soon about a Battlefield 2 Veterans Program where EA will be "rewarding our loyal BF2 community by giving them exclusive benefits for enlisting with Battlefield 2142".

I dont see any new newsletter but the one concerning 1.4 Where did u read it, on the official BF2 website ? I couldnt find anything about BF2142

uh... it's in the first paragraph of the first page that was linked.

"DICE is pleased to announce that we will be rewarding our loyal BF2 community by giving them exclusive benefits for enlisting with Battlefield 2142 when it comes out this October."

FAKE! Nothing of this is in the EA official webpage. And in the video the guy doesnt tell any of this.

I am highly suspect of that link and a search for it on its own turned up nothing.

I don't trust it at all.

Does are preview pics. Like in all the other webpage they have videos of previews. But theres no official date for release. That date is fake! No official release news..

Thing is it still looks like nothing more than BF2 with Mechs, even look at the first screen shot they have reused the railing from BF2.

Can you say old news? Although this may be new news to you. I work for the Battlefield 2142 EA Unofficial site. Glad to know more of the community knows. :)
