You could also be typing n1, or gs instead. But I guess those good old times are long gone...
I think I have NEVER gotten a ty u2 or something similar after I said ns, or g1 over text in BF2.
It used to be quiet common in other games. Is it just me?

I know only one still quite widely played old game called Soldier of Fortune 2 where you most time get credits like "Nice one" and "good shooting".. Sometimes just play it to get the rest for nerves..

and then lameing in bf2 feels like especially childish.. like big part of CS/CSS players have started playing and lameing in bf2

It made me so proud the first time that someone accused me of hax. But that was bettered when our entire squad (of six clan-mates) was accused of it cuz we were owning everyone on the server so badly, for such a long time.

I usually say WTF ....

but when something crazy happens like unloading a clip into an enemy's face while standing on top of them, they're prone and don't know i'm there, and they don't die I will call him a sponge or cheater. Also some games there will be some people that I cannot kill no matter what I do to them, it's either a cheat or the game's ****ed. It also happens to me where I get shot by someone and I don't take any damage yet I hear and see his bullets hitting me.

I felt so l33t the first time some cried hack at me (ok only once I exaggerate a bit). I was on Wake sitting in a LAV on the tip of the southern atoll almost in the water facing towards the little island with the artillery. Someone was either in the missile platform or had a shoulder fired rocket. They kept firing at me but their rockets were dropping short. As we all know rockets leave a smoke trail, I just pointed my barrel in the direction of the rockets and unloaded. I only got one or two kills out of it, but they were crying hack because the LAV couldn't see that far! TBO, I couldn't see that far, they just gave away their position by firing at me.

That's a pretty sweet hack you got there, you unlocked the APC on Wake.
