Is anyone else sick of people crying "Hack" everytime they get killed?!

Example: Shot a guy (wont give username as not relevant as more than one person does this) twice, and he typed "how did you know where i was?" so i put "because i saw you, why?", his response was "well you just shot me twice in a row" so i retort "better get used to it!! :) "....anyway a short time later i shoot him again and he cries "Hack".

Now this guy was a private (yes i know he might have had another account) so im going to assume he hasn't been playing long. But he shouted "hack" which is a huge assumption and an excuse for him not being as experienced as other people getting the better of him! Most servers have filters for abusive language and does anyone else think Hack should be added to this?

If you think someone i hacking then take screenshots and go through the proper channels, don't cry about it throughout the whole game as it spoils it for everyone. It seems the better player you are the more you get called a hack. There's some amazing players out there and if this annoys me then it must piss them right off:evil:

Well this never happens to me as I'm usually the one getting a hammering from some guy, but it's never once entered my head that "whoa he must be using some kind of cheat". There are occasions I think WTF just happened? but I just put it down to good luck/skill on the other players behalf!

I felt so l33t the first time some cried hack at me (ok only once I exaggerate a bit). I was on Wake sitting in a LAV on the tip of the southern atoll almost in the water facing towards the little island with the artillery. Someone was either in the missile platform or had a shoulder fired rocket. They kept firing at me but their rockets were dropping short. As we all know rockets leave a smoke trail, I just pointed my barrel in the direction of the rockets and unloaded. I only got one or two kills out of it, but they were crying hack because the LAV couldn't see that far! TBO, I couldn't see that far, they just gave away their position by firing at me.

It IS annoying however sometimes quite amusing.

I was in the MEC tank in Karkand practically sitting in one place killing the same guy in the USMC tank over and over again.

He started to call "HACK!"

Next time he tried to come and kill me i moved slightly for him to see a supply crate right behind me
While also informing him and the rest of the server using text , therefore embarasing and humilating the idiot

Dunnoe there are a couple of times I've been tempted to call hack as well. I don't and mostly I do realise that the people are just better than me, but he other day I was getting my *** handed to me by another player. It didn't matter what I tried to to . If i shot him in the back form miles away he'd turn and pot me one shot with the AK. If I cam upon him in CQB and went cyclic same thing.

He managed to rack up a seriously impressive high score in that round, but then I remembered all the times I've played like that as well, where you just can't be touched by anyone, always making the shots and your grenades are golden, so I just shrugged it off.

I've often been on the receiving end of someone totally dominating a map, and I realise how it myst feel to them when I do it, every once in a long while :p

How about what i saw the other day . Was in an Sf Warlord server and round was allmost over except for one guy . So our comander puts up a UAV over this guys head . My friend and his budys on vent go in for the kill . And they get waisted . So they go at this guy again and i mean liek 3-4 gys at once and he is mowing them down.

So im like ya right so i move my tank up and this guy runs by me . So i shoot my tank and nothing happens to this guy, im starting to go Wtf . As i stop shooting 5 of my team mates start opening fire on this guy and u can see the bullets bounce off of him as he ran too the next point . Finaly he turned off what ever he was using and let himself get runover as half my team called Hax .

Next round as my team is yelling hax this guy goes oh maybe im that good . Shorty after he DC without spawning

Urm....that would be a "no" to that question. It's a generic statement which i know has effected most players at some time. I also wouldn't start naming names without the back up of a screen shot as it's not fair to start accusing specific players without hard evidence.

If it happens again i will be sure to get a screenshot and you'll be the first to know

Get a screen shot of what? I have seen people saying get a screen shot to report hackers, what are you supposed to capture in the screen shot???? You cant see the enemy on the hud, I dont get it, how do you prove someones hacking with a screen shot?????

i dont cry hack sometimes just type BS 50% its down to my mistakes the other 50% lag/netcode
but its a nice feeling when ur killed by someone and think BS
then a few kills later u kill the same player and they type BS
they only hacks ive seen are commander hacks

You could also be typing n1, or gs instead. But I guess those good old times are long gone...
I think I have NEVER gotten a ty u2 or something similar after I said ns, or g1 over text in BF2.
It used to be quiet common in other games. Is it just me?

I was the one that started the thread, this concerns a screenshot of someone crying hack and not the actual hack.

Your right though, getting a screen shot of someone hacking doesnt really prove anything, need battle recorder to be sure.

I am with you, since the old days of Mechwarrior, you would always say n1, or gs. This carried into CS when I started playing it. The problem was that CS became so riddled with haxs that it was really getting annoying, that is why I started BF2. I don't think anyone is really using aimbots or haxs for infantry fighting. I think alot of it comes down to the engine of the game. There are times when I have stabed someone 3-5 times and they don't die. You can hear it hit, but no death.

But if you get pwned by another player, let him know that he is doing good. What harm is in that. We all have good days and bad days, on those good days we cant be touched, but heaven forbid a bad day!! As with any thing, the more you play the better you will become, with good habbits that is. So far the game has been very enjoyable without the constant problem of having at least one haxor on the server.

As time goes by this may change, as people find more and more ways to hax the code. But for right now, enjoy it, and take it as a complament if they call you a haxor. Maybe one day they themselves will be called one. :2cents:
